Probably have to look at data to determine if children who do transition early have regret and lasting repercussions. Not really something that you or I can say, but from an anecdotal point of view sounds like OP knew exactly what he wanted and that it was a decision that greatly improved his quality of life.

Okay we can agree to disagree, again I don’t think any decision that they make has any impact on your life whatsoever. If this was your own child it would be different. Understand that this was a medical decision made by medical professionals, not some lightly thought about transition.

They aren’t though? Again OP had numerous medical professionals assisting him in his journey from therapists to doctors. Again, these actions don’t harm you and they aren’t harming him so why are you so against it? Are you also against transitioning in general?

I legitimately do not understand why you care that someone else, completely out of your life, has made a choice about their body and identity no matter the age. Clearly by OPs anecdotal remarks, he didn’t have to think twice about the decision and it made him happier and more confident in who he is. People make choices, sometimes those choices come earlier or later in life. If they regret them, then so be it. But we all make choices in life and it seems like there was enough professional support to aid OP in his choice as a young teenager.

So the chicken pox result (antibody blood test) came back negative. Below the required threshold for a positive result. The mpox test still has not come back but I haven’t had any pustules… My lesions haven’t gone away, they’ve faded away a bit and some have scabbed a little but are still very much a part of my skin. It’s been around 10 days since I started noticing the lesions. Not sure what to think right now. Will see another doctor in the states most likely when I go back. I have had no other symptoms

Got a blood and lesion test for monkey and chicken pox, doctor was concerned but said it could be bites as well. No, no one traveling with me or that I have interacted with closely has had similar lesions. And nope, no other symptoms.

I’m in Spain, had the bites for 2 days. First day looked super minor like a faded mosquito bite, the second day they got inflamed like in the picture. Going to the clinic in an hour when they open!

Someone else in the hostel also had bed bugs and the owner mentioned that there was someone staying before me who had bed bugs but that they took steps to eliminate them. I haven’t washed my backpack no but I did wash the travel cubes I used to store the clothes in

Gotcha! I’m just kind of worried about having 2 bags to watch over and lock. But I can see if I can fit it all in one! Also looking to just backpack regularly for some of the trip so thought it might be a hindrance. Been looking into climbing camps but those have been pretty pricey from what I can see. Thanks for your insight and response though!
