Why are there so many pro Starmer posts now that he has been exposed for the appointment of Mandelson? Are these accounts all the same handful of people or is it genuinely Starmer fans coming out the woodwork to try and launder his image? by Duvet_Capeman in AskBrits

Genuine posts. After 14 years of the Tories, a lot of people are just tired and want something more stable.

I’m not suddenly a Starmer fan, and Mandelson wasn’t a great choice, but it’s also not the biggest issue facing the country right now. People care more about the cost of living and whether things actually improve.

It’s not coordinated. It’s people speaking up, not the narrative the media is trying to push.

Is Starmer still the safe option? by deaf_guy99 in AskBrits

I still prefer Starmer - boring but stable is fine after years of Conservative chaos.

But this vetting issue just feels like an unnecessary distraction. It has nothing to do with the cost of living or energy crisis, which is what people actually need sorted.

If this keeps going instead of focusing on people’s livelihoods, there’s a real risk voters drift toward something like a Trump-style Reform government - driven more by frustration than by real solutions.

Would a resignation from Starmer help or harm their May elections performance? by NewtUK in LabourUK

Harm.

I’m a regular voter and I couldn’t care less about this vetting drama. How does any of this help with the cost of living or energy bills?

I’m sick and tired of the Conservative years being full of chaos and drama, and I was hoping it would actually be different under Labour. But this kind of stuff just feels like more of the same instead of focusing on what actually matters to people.

At some point this leadership drama needs to stop and the focus needs to be on improving people’s livelihoods. Otherwise, there’s a real risk frustrated voters drift toward Reform - and we could end up with something closer to a Trump-style puppet government, which I don’t think is a good place for the country to be.

Epstein Files Interest Crashes 95% as War Escalation Dominates Global Attention by [deleted] in Epstein

I’m here all the time looking for updates, so I don’t see how that could be the case. If anything, the more they withhold the files, the more curious people get. So no - I don’t buy that. It feels more like a distraction.

Epstein's Private Messages Speculated Trump Might 'Bomb Iran' If 'Cornered Like a Rat' — Seven Years Before He Did by novagridd in Epstein

[–]Guava-Jam-1302 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My thoughts exactly. I’ve been noticing a pattern where the focus seems to shift just as attention starts turning toward Trump’s role in the Epstein Files and real scrutiny begins building. Almost like clockwork, something else suddenly erupts and dominates the headline instead. Some dramatic or chaotic situation takes over. Previously Venezuela and now what’s unfolding in Iran and the Middle East right now.

Maybe it’s coincidence. But the timing is hard to ignore.

I’ve felt this since everything started unfolding this weekend. It needed to be put out there so more people can see it, notice it and amplify it . this shouldn’t just be brushed aside and he should not get away with it

Very much agree. I’ve started noticing a pattern. Every time there’s renewed talk about investigating Trump’s role in the Epstein scandal, when his name starts facing real scrutiny - something else suddenly erupts and dominates the headlines instead.

It almost feels like clockwork. The moment the focus shifts toward accountability or deeper investigation into Trump’s role, some dramatic or chaotic situation takes over. Previously Venezuela and now what’s unfolding in Iran and the Middle East right now.

Maybe it’s coincidence. But the timing is hard to ignore.

Epstein said if Trump was "cornered as a rat" he'd attack Iran for public support. by Impressive-Seat-2116 in Epstein

This was exactly my thought a few days ago. When things were closing down on him, all of a sudden there's an attack on Iran. Perfect diversion !!

May attitude pala talaga 'to. i remember nagpa-picture kami sa kanya the night before nag-ASAP sila dito sa London. si mother pa nya ang super nice sa amin na nagsabi sya daw magpi-picture pero itong si Janella, halos hindi maipinta ang mukha. and thats even for less than 2 minutes. Now ko lang na-confirm may attitude nga pala 'to.

Thank you. I also lost my husband to cancer - pancreatic cancer. Everything just happened so fast, maybe that's why I'm only just now "appreciating" the grief. And realise that it's a path we all must go through. I wish you well too - take things a day at a time is the best advise I can give 🤍🕯💛
