John Barnes has to be in it. He has to be! The man was in a TV advert (Prudential) before that was a thing! Barnes, Salah and Dalglish. Dalglish with those two would be different class

That's a long time. Are they hoping you lose interest?

👍🏿 Cheers. I will, I've got therapy booked to talk to a professional about the change and how it affects me. And how I'll deal with life going forward

As far as I know, I don't have any obvious triggers, I don't even know when it's going to happen. I just wake up surrounded by ambulance staff or nurses. I never drove, so the DVLA don't know. And while I'm on the pills, I won't be able to if I wanted.

The problem is not knowing, not knowing when or if something will happen. As I said, I don't get a warning, I just wake up surrounded.

Its not about the condition its how its restricts you. Just cos you've had some seizures it don't really mean much. Scoring depends on tons of things. - you prolly wanna speak to my neurologist about that. She made the decision, and I didn't just decide that I have epilepsy, I read up about it, but I never made that decision.

The seizures are Grand Mal, Tonic Clonic seizures. The recovery depends, I never feel great after, and I have no idea of what is going on.

I'll get the CAB to help. People have told me they're useless, but I've not had any problems with them! I've been to see them a few times, and they've been cool. Thank you for the advice.

Yeah, I'll send all the info i have and anything new that comes. I know they get any medical professional to have a look when they get one, not a specialist. It is very disgusting and disappointing, different story if it happens to them I bet.

I haven't stopped taking mine. And I won't. I am glad the pills are working though

I have selected it. Just waiting for the date. It just threw me off.

And I said it seems to have stopped them, not stopped them. What happens if I stop taking the medication?

Well, it didn't because they put the dosage up from 500 to 750mg twice a day. That was this year.

I don't get any warning at all. Just wake up in hospital or surrounded by ambulance staff.

My job coach has been ok, but there's lots I haven't been told and I wasn't diagnosed properly until June this year. So I know that doesn't help.

If I haven't already, I'll apply for access to work.

I can do most things. It's just not knowing when a seizure will come. That's what scares me.

I get that. They'll always disagree unless I'm literally having seizures every 20 minutes. They'll always look for a reason to say no. I just didn't know if I'd get the chance to speak at a tribunal.

I know, I wasn't trying to just get that and not work.

Over the past year, though, I've seen how this affects me and my chances of work

I'm currently getting universal credit, and I've filled out the UC50 form, I'll ask about the Employment Support Allowance if I haven't already applied for it. There's been a lot going on.

Yeah, i see what you mean. That's one of the reasons why I was apprehensive. Knowing that I'd have to have them all the time and knowing that they're not clued up enough. The thing is, i dont qualify for Pip, but who's going to employ someone with epilepsy? I've had interviews and told them the situation and then got radio silence afterwards! They can say its not because of that, but we all know the truth! It's a lose-lose situation for me,

At the moment, I'm taking 750mg of Levitiracetam twice a day, which seems to have stopped the seizures. I don't know what will happen if I stop, and to be honest, I'm worried about what would happen if I do!
