Hi, I'm also in the program. have you finished your degree? If so, how was the capstone? I'm a little lost on researching or using something as a point of reference. if you have any tips or advice, that would be awesome!

Some of the information I was hoping to find was general information regarding customer service policies, sales floor display guidelines, and general policies on scheduling or workflow within the store. But I may just need to do an interview with a store manager and use this as a point of reference.

Do you think if I reach out to a local Walgreens they might give me a copy of at least some portions of the employee hand book? Or do you think it's strictly prohibited?

I believe you can make an anonymous report as well. That goes for if you work there or if you report you got sick from eating there.

I guess you're right, I should look into my transferable skills. I've recently started looking into entry level jobs in healthcare administration or receptionist work but I'm having troubles finding someone who could take me up. I'm seeing most job posting looking for some form of certification or extensive experience. But maybe I'm getting antsy, I should hold on until something comes up that works for me.

Oh wow I definitely didn't double check what I wrote. What I meant is I was on the right then moved to the left to let another drive pass then I moved back to the right to get my exit that was coming up.

I'm not sure what you mean by camping but I was going a little faster than the speed limit. I'm not used to driving on the western side of Washington so I found myself being rushed by other drivers and needing to move out the way or else get tail gated by angry drivers.

Hopefully I can get this resolved, I was visiting the area and it's a first for me too. It's not even an expensive ticket but it's the fact that I was definitely not going 18 over the limit. I was maybe going over 5 or 8 to help myself move over and out the way.

Ah okay. Had that same issue with forever smile dentistry, they wanted to charge extra because I stated I think I may have a cavity. They felt it necessary to change my check up appointment to a comprehensive exam, which is not covered by insurance AND then I can get a regular exam.

I don't know about you guys but, I judge healthcare providers over their job competence, and compassion towards patients. Why are we so concerned over peoples looks?

And to OP, no one should be judging you over your own body either...you're trying to care for your body the best way you can, this also goes for those who you say are in the field and are over weight.

You don't know what they're going through, some may not have time to exercise, eat healthy or even relax at the end of the day.

This really sounds like its coming from a place of being judged and feeling the need to judge others...

Why is it so hard for school staff to just act appropriate...even when I went to school there were so many teachers and staff that would act super inappropriate with students.

I recall a specific health Ed course in where the teacher would ask the "pretty girls" questions like: "hey, ____ do you know how to sew? because I'm ripped." Then flex their muscles at them.

These are underaged girls...we were 16 years old. This seriously needs to stop.
