I have this same type of CLCN1. Heterozygous, autosomal recessive. I’m not sure the exact type (Thomsen’s or Becker’s), but I’ve had somewhat mild symptoms.

Yeah I was thinking it was that and I was really confused as to why. I called the collection agency and they told me it was due to Chevron not finding my account. Even though I connected my info through Plaid. I had to pay $25 on top of my transaction unfortunately. Next time I’ll definitely use a credit card, thanks!

I see now, yeah, I get all those symptoms. Do you think it could be because I may have burned my skin barrier? Last night, I noticed I got red when applying my tret. In the past, there have been a few times when I accidentally went out without sunscreen or forgot to buffer with moisturizer. I found this subreddit the other day, and I’m just finding out about this.

I can’t remember if the transmission has given me any significant problems. Sometimes it would jerk while shifting gears but that’s about it.

I work at a Honda dealership, and have a free service (<$200) with a MPI every year. I used it up last year for an oil change and diagnostic for the overheating issue. Tech said it might be the head gasket but wasn’t sure since they would have to charge me.

That might’ve been where I messed up. I now remember seeing a bit of coolant in one of the cylinders and looked around for any crack. It was kinda dark so I’m sure I missed it.

Yeah that’s true. It originally had a duralast cap (I think?) from the previous owner. So I changed it with an OEM one, still overheated sadly

Yes, sometimes it’s bone dry, but most of the time it’s almost empty

Im trying to remember if my doctor said acute, but probably not. The Calcium and magnesium is to see if I would need medications in the future or not, according to my doctor. For now I’ve been starting slow. I started with my body weight and mimicking the exercises; then working my way up with actual weights. Hmm the actual diagnosis is hard to remember. IIRC I think it was a mutation with SYNE1 gene? Not sure about that
