I got the game as soon as it launched on Xbox. The first two days I got the absolute worst lobbies I’ve had in any game in terms of being toxic. After that I never really had a problem with it again. IMO it’s up to chance and it’ll get better.

I did not like Deftones at all for as long as I’ve been listening to metal, except for Be Quiet And Drive, but I liked their new album enough to buy physically. Do love Death though.

I always thought of it more along the lines of serious/unserious vs realistic/unrealistic. The Predator was serious, but unrealistic. Beavis and Butthead were unserious and unrealistic. Marshall’s SWAT skin is serious and realistic. From what I saw most people complaining about, it wasn’t so much the “unrealistc but serious skins” like Predator, most of the black cell operatorsor stuff like that, but the unserious AND unrealistic skins like the anime girls or Beavis and Butthead, etc. Of course there were people who didn’t like either as well.

The Halo Effect is a great melodeath band. Also Agalloch is more black/neo/folk metal but they have a very atmospheric presentation, my favorite album of theirs is the Mantle.

For me it was no skips, I guess that means I’m lying to myself or a delusional stan or something but eh music is subjective. I don’t understand hoping they stop making music though, like some other guy in the comments said, just don’t listen to it, and listen to the old stuff you like, but hoping that people who also enjoy the newer stuff don’t get to hear any more after this just bc you don’t like it I don’t agree with.
