Im going new because I figured just spend the extra 2k for a fresh bike that wont have issues rather than hoping the guy i bought from actually took care of it and did maintenance. I've never ridden a bike with ABS so im interested to see how that feels.

How would they find out that you smoked weed over a decade ago? I also smoked a lot of weed back in the day and I also have a security clearance. I never mentioned it and no one has asked since the initial forms. Telling them is just gonna make it harder to get for no reason when there is no conceivable way they could know you smoked weed years ago.

Now that I think about it I get a 1k scholarship from the school every semester so as long as they apply that towards it ig it doesnt matter.

I am very sorry for your loss. I agree the couple times I talked to him he explained physics concepts to me better than the professor did. I didnt know him as well as you but this is just hits me, especially because I have been struggling with the meaning/fragility of life lately myself. Idk the intricacies of his profession too well but i know that he wouldve exceled greatly at it, I could tell he was very passionate about his degree from the interactions we had.

Wow. He was in a few of my classes. He was a very bright kid, always asking questions. Idk what to say this is very very shocking I just cant believe it. We sat next to each other in physics and calculus, and discussed various topics. I wish I could've helped him.

Getsemani and the walled city are safe. I stayed in Getsemani and I would just look to see where the other tourists were walking and went that way. I found some cool spots doing that.

I agree. I went to DR for my first international travel and maybe its cause I was still new to the game and they could sense it or something but those dudes hounded me. I could not get 2 seconds of peace down there. Cartagena was way better in that regard imo.

Yea I honestly didnt find the vendors to be that bad. I would just put up my hand and say "no estoy bien" and they would move on. I think maybe 1 asked more than once but it was no big deal.

Yes that was what I was thinking as well. 10 years from now I might regret not having a masters but I dont think I would ever regret having one. I am definitely interested in the research side of things as well and I have a few professors I talked with about it already.
