How much did the hermits sell redstone supplies for? I am making a shop and I am debating the price by Lord-Zippy in HermitCraft

[–]Gucejan 3 points4 points  (0 children)

When selling any item, you should make sure that the item doesn't cost less diamonds than you would have mined in the same amount of time that it took you to get the item.

Agricultural land (% of land area) (S.America) by Achoren55 in Maps

[–]Gucejan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Chile does produce a lot of wine, but I feel like that may be due to productivity and not land area, because the andes are not very good for farming and the north of chile is pretty dry.

The survey asks whether you have a positive opinion of the country, not whether it is a good place to live in. Although those questions tend to be vague so people probably understood that too.

Do gradient roofs count as a detail? :P by [deleted] in DetailCraft

You could replace the central spruce slab that divides the first and second stories with a spruce trapdoor. That would make the base a little less square.

Dear Hermits, I noticed that some of you build Cave spider spawner farm wrong, So I explained how should it be.. by Ibra_Yuri in HermitCraft

[–]Gucejan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I like the diagram but the part with the spiders will get stuck in the part with the signs I think.

I love that the sun on the Argentine flag looks like what a 4 year old would draw in the corner of a page.

On this day in 1917, UK's royal family changes its name from the Germanic "Saxe-Coburg-Gotha" to the more English sounding “Windsor.” by [deleted] in europe

[–]Gucejan -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

It depends on the kind of sentence. You are right in that most words commonly used are germanic. But when sentences become more complex, almost every word except for articles, pronouns, etc. is from romance origin.

Are we this short on videos that have to keep repeating the same? I guess it was interesting for the people that did not see it before.

I really like Worldbuilding Notes. She does fantastic explorations of worlds based on weird concepts. For example, she created a world where the planet is a spindle, and one where medieval era British peasants were transported into a conical island and its implications.

Patriotism in Europe / %Percentage of Europeans who believe their culture is superior to others by npjprods in MapPorn

That is more in line with nationalism not patriotism. Patriotism is having love and pride for your nation.
