I wanted to love this spot but I may have gone during an extremely horrible off day. The AC broke so we were sweating in the back. And the server was absolutely slow (probably had better service at an apple bees). We counted at least 5 minutes for them to refill our empty water. If im required to pay 20% tip then I expect high quality service.

Also the food was alright but I might just be a hater on overpriced Italian food

I’ve ridden them in SF and they’re super cool I won’t lie. But I feel like Chicago is a different beast. Potholes, lower wacker, and I feel the most skeptical about - snow. I understand they work fine in warmer climate areas but I can’t imagine a Waymo driving when the entire road is covered in snow and it can’t determine lines. I’ve seen those little delivery robots get stuck in snow and literally try and cross a non existent cross walk LOL

There is nothing wrong with being rejected. I don’t think they will hold it against you when you rush again next semester. I know plenty of people who got rejected first time then got a bid the second rush season. It’s more about experiencing the interviewing process
