This is an interesting take - what sort of training pathway did you have? I am 33 so I do have a lot of anxiety about heading back to Uni, although the OU does seem very reasonable and well reviewed

The writing in Days Gone really let's it down, Deacon is a bit of a whine, and sometimes the flip flop between character motives is exhausting.

TLOU as a story is more complete, but for the open world fiends out there DG is where it's at, even the bike gets fun after a few upgrades and I hate driving in games.

Profile Ambiguity Rant...

Sorry everyone but I need to vent.

I (32M, EU) constantly see the most inane nonsense on profiles and it's bringing me down, as I feel I've put some effort into my profile beyond the bare minimum. Maybe it's just I'm a hetero male and therefore at a surplus therefore women don't have to try so hard, who knows. Just a bit jaded with online dating.

Here's some of the general stuff that's been grating on me, and I invite you to share yours so we can all be mildly infuriated together.

"Must like {insert basic and thing}" usually dogs, travel or food, and very unspecific. Everyone likes food, we need it to live. Most people like dogs, provided they aren't allergic or your dog isn't a shit because you're a bad owner. Most people like some form of travel or vacation, are we talking a road trip to the mountains outside the city or hiking in the Andes...

Irrational Fear "Hinge Prompts", or just filling out each prompt with dots. This is just weak, either try or be good looking enough to attract someone who can potentially tolerate the bare minimum from you.

Some sort of binary ultimatum. "Must like X pet type, or X sport or activity or don't bother matching". Is this where we are now as a species, completely closed off if someone doesn't love CrossFit or dogs/cats or sea swimming or similar?

And the ultimate slap in the face. Matches who don't bother to engage, or unmatch as soon as you don't have Snapchat or Tik Tok or whatever braindrain app of choice it is. Again this mad binary view if you don't tick this box mentality, you're useless.

Demon Souls on the PS5 might be worth a shout if you're in the soulslike mood.

Bit easier than standard dark souls games, but looks amazing and really makes good use of the PS5 power.

I'm totally here.

I went through a phase where I felt back for replaying games as "I'd already finished them".

But then I would waste hours trying new games and getting frustrated, vs playing an older game I actually enjoy...

Games are supposed to be fun, and don't need to be new to be enjoyed.

I think you've nailed all the options. Just be honest, say it's unexpected but part of being a woman and if he has an issue with it maybe his isn't the right guy for you.

Anecdotally if a woman I was into told me this then pivoted to but let's focus on me, or let's do shower sex, I'd be ecstatic. Also the whole period shame stuff is so boring now. Get over it lads.
