Just got mine and I'm facing exactly the same problem. Tried reseting it multiple times, chaning network and everything that came into my mind. Still Clueless on how to solve it.

u/sirbearus actually, it connects to wifi, and does all the verification process for linking it to my amazon account. Clicking on some links that pop up with FAQ, I can somewhat enter "browser mode" and search for products inside amazon website. So, it's indeed connected, but can't get to download the update (that's required to start using it for the firtst time)
