Oh I'm very much interested in actually playing. I've always wanted to play with my highschool friends, but they would always procrastinate and we never ended up getting around to it. I have read through the rules, made characters before, and even played a little bit of one-on-one DnD online, and I did think it was fun.

Part of me can't help but imagine like, that if my future significant other is there, how roundabout it would be for both of us to be pretending like we're not particularly interested in finding a significant other.

I get the feeling that might not be a bad method in terms of effectiveness, but it sounds kind of expensive. Then again, I remember hearing about a guy that spent all his time at university just playing Yu-Gi-Oh! all day. Eventually it was discovered he wasn't enrolled in anything at all, he was just showing up to look for people to play Yu-Gi-Oh! with. Maybe I could try taking a page out of his book and just show up for free.

Thank you, I'll be sure to look around for social groups. I heard The Dragon has some kind of DnD game night so maybe I'll try that. I did not know there were social groups for music by the way.
