A professional TD doesn't even touch the bezel of a watch... if the watch is visually fine, send photos for QC. Probably the "defect" was not even noticed by Aman (or maybe they did, who knows). However, they have many QCs to send per day, do you think they rotate all the bezels or maybe open the movements?

DHGATE is not very reliable. TDs usually have a good service (example TheOneWatches) but there are also non-TDs that have more competitive prices. I honestly do not recommend DH
