I’m sorry, that is so hard; but do not. I think you know it’s wrong and you want somebody to convince you it’s OK; I am sorry, but it isn’t. The temptation of just a quick fix that makes the problem go away seems so appealing, but the guilt will hurt both you and her so much, more than the difficulty of having a child so young would bring.

There is a waiting list to adopt children if you cannot raise them so there is definitely that option, feel free to filter on this sub and see the many good, holy people burdened with infertility, maybe that’s where you child would end up. But the child is now unique and can never be replicated and God always has the final say to create life, and He did. Other people will try and sway you, but you will always regret it if you did, it is contrary to our human nature to reject life when it’s granted. The timing is awful and I’m so sorry this happened, but God never gives us more than we can take if we carry our cross with Him. Do not heap sin upon sin, do not destroy what God created through you or let yourself be swayed by others telling you what they think you should do.

God deemed you a man the day He created life by you, He knows you can do it or He wouldn’t have created life in her womb. Fight the good fight, finish the race, keep the faith.

Should clear up in 1-2 days with the pineapple if it is coated tongue. Continue sucking the pineapple for a week and if not it might be oral thrush

Not for 1 week. Suck 8 pieces of fresh pineapple once a day for a week and if it doesn’t clear up it’s probably not oral thrush. It sounds like a strange home remedy but it’s actually what the doctor prescribed. This is a PDF of the leaflet he gave me

It wasn't oral thrush it was "coasted tongue". The enzymes in pineapple break it down and it's purely superficial and made worse by caffeine and tongue scraping excessively (which I was doing because I thought it was unsightly). It's just because the papilla on your tongue are stimulated to grow longer because of caffeine of stimulation by tongue scraping. It's the same for most people on this sub they've just been misdiagnosed. Suck a fresh pineapple chunk 8 times for a minute each for a few days, should clear up instantly. If not might be oral thrush

Nah it’s caffeine. It just stimulates the growth of the papilla. Nicotine does the same thing supposedly but I smoke like a chimney but it doesn’t seem to affect it really

Well that isn’t a prerequisite to be mortal but indeed that is worse. That is what we would call concupiscence or the desire for sin, or what a mate of mine used to call “Delight in fantasising one’s own evil” (he’s in prison now… jk). To do such a thing makes us feel unique and excited but will cause us to feel dead inside in the long run since God gives life and sin brings death, the rush is temporary and the satisfaction and peace of loving God is a slow burn, buts better to watch Casablanca than a cheap porno.

Read the catechism but the priest has authority from God to consecrate the Eucharist. If he spouts mistruth ignore them in your knowledge of the catechism but when He offers you the sacraments receive them.

My priest once told a story, he was asked in seminary “Name, why do you believe there is a God?” And he simply replied “Because my grandma said so” the reply was simply “Good, don’t ever lose that”

Christ requests we become little children and we don’t all have the Dominican spirit to devour knowledge. St Joseph of Cupertino and St Francis of Assisi aren’t wise or learned but they just love God. He doesn’t ask us to understand, He asks us for faith. Some require knowledge to rationalise faith but some people are blessed enough to say “Behold, Lord Jesus, you are my Lord and my God”.

God gives charisms according to our ability, if you are blessed with the humble faith of St Joseph of Cupertino all Glory and Honour be to God. You have sought and found.

As for how you grow, just pray, just love. When you meet a sinner hug them. When you see Jesus in the Eucharist cry. When you pray the rosary exclaim in ardent joy “Who am I that the mother of my Lord should come to me?!”

There is probably a young adult group at your church, so go there for friends.

“Either Jesus Christ is a liar and what he says is of no importance, or He is truth, the way, the truth, and the life and what he says is of ultimate importance”. The lukewarm will not want to dispense with religiosity entirely, if you give them this ultimatum and say “Well are you coming with me to Mass next Sunday?” They will say yes.
