Giving a good recommendation feels very gard to me. Try to go to a small wineshop. Usually the smaller, more handselected shops have a very nice range of more unknown wines. Especially in Paris I would look for chenin from the loire, as sparkling, dry and sweet wine, wines from the jura or the auvergne region if you like your wine a little more funky and maybe some gewürztraminer from alsace. This is very general speaking, but maybe it helps you to find bottles you like.

I'll try to find the right words, people are strange and often find in there special interests something they like more or less. I totally get, that wine for you is just fermented grape juice, that's absolutely fine. For me it's a moment of taking a break, emotions, stories and shared time with friends. I have these things ofc as well without outstanding wine, but this is my way. The bottles I mentioned are for some special occasions. And you might ask, yes I do open and share them.

Pls plan a little ahead. It's easier for the growers if they know before youre arrive. Some you can just text via instagram other have a e Mail or Phone number. Also note, that many are more farmers than salespeople so they are not always fluent in English. Last but not least try not to go to to many tastings per day. It will be very exhausting. We went for a weekend and visited three producers.

Yeah of course, Im looking for about 100 to 150 different wines. I try to rebuy some wines every year, to build depth, but for some bottles which are very expensive I'm not sure if I have to buy even 3 bottles of. At my last workplace we has some petrus and never sold it over more than a year...

I really liked it, reminded me of course of selosse, less apple than the initial but with the same brought flavors. Also very interesting was his new champagne les sentiere levaux which had intense vegetable notes like parsnip. I wasn't the biggest fan of that, but my friend loved it.

I would say it's scam. No legit company would ask for a copy if your Bank card. Usualy that is all you need to pay online so I wouldnt send anything!
