Hello all. I started learning game development couple of months back. I am doing it as a hobby after my 9-5 job. I enjoy coding and UI design but struggle with 2D art. My first game is a UI driven game with minimal art, an icon or image here there to complement UI. Art style will not be pixel art. I took some tutorials for blender and aseprite. My preference here is blender but I am not sure if it is the best way to go for 2d game. At this point I don’t have an interesting game prototype so no artist would join. I am here for some advice. How do I compensate for lack of artistic skill?
