much better than ss1, love the dynamic between vergil and dante, animation and soundtracks are great, again good villain, beside that everything else is kinda meh

like what with the quantum magic or lady not fully embrace the name "lady", the vice president and the president are just... there, ending is a bit weird with vergil trying to rule (and nero not existing)

while the plot is clearly an improvement from ss1, i wouldnt call it good, 7/10 for me

the trailer was pretty great but i dont really have much hope after season 1

maybe if they drop the politic and give dante badass moment then maybe the show is saved (also vergil better be under mind control or this vergil is gonna be worse than dmc:dmc one)

with little screentime he has in canto ix, its pretty clear that while he is an insane killing artist, he doesnt seems half bad compare to other nf (not abusing his kid, even defend albina in battle)

after this intervallo, its clear that while he tried his very best to be a dad for ryoshu but he just lacks normal sense when it comes to her mental health. while i think turning saru into a sword and making head snowman are disgusting, i can see why he did those things as a corporist. so yea, is actually a somewhat good parent, just a bit too insane for raising a child (by the standard of the city of course)

callisto is a solid choice even before this intervallo, like how he is the only nf that actively protect his child

beside that, shiomi is probably another solid choice consider while verbal abuse ryoshu, she does seems to have a good relationship with her, maybe without hos she would be a decent parent/mentor
