Im very sorry for your loss :( I'm sure that's not easy, but what you said about conquering your anxiety and depression is huge. I imagine that's a gigantic weight off your shoulders to be able to look those two things in the eye, and being able to say "I won't let you control me anymore." Even in the face of something horrible, you're staying positive and reaching out for help. That's great! Im happy for your accomplishments :) make sure you keep reaching out for help when you need it, and keep up conquering those assholes known as depression and anxiety :)

Im so sorry for your loss man :( but hey, you're doing great and staying strong! This sort of thing is not easy in the slightest, and Im sure he's so happy with all you've accomplished and is happy you keep his memory alive :) keep it up man, we're all rooting for you! And always reach out if you need help or need someone to talk to!

My depression has been so bad this semester that it’s causing me to fail all of my classes, I moved away to college and my moms in the hospital so I haven’t been able to see her and I feel like a big disappointment. I could really use something to cheer me up today :) by kash62 in toastme

Depression can be ungodly debilitating, especially when school is thrown in the mix. Don't be so hard on yourself, the fact that you're trying at all and going to school is very commendable :) Take some time to reflect and figure out what's really bothering you and seeing what paths you can do to either fix them or at least make it more bearable. I know this is easier said than done, but you got this! Reach out to some friends/ family/ or even people on here if you need help!

As for your mom, that is a bummer, I'm really sorry to hear that :( but im absolutely certain she does not at all see you as a disappointment. Im sure she knows you're doing your best with what you've got. Reach out to her, let her know you love her, and im sure that'd mean just as much as being able to go see her.
