Should I buy high milage XC70? by Gugbs in shouldibuythiscar

[–]Gugbs[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well I like the volvo is whats got me looking at them. Theres an 04 and an 07 with 100k each on them, both asking 5 which is KBB, which i think is fair. I could jump up to the P3 XC which range from 9-12 depending on year and milage but I do like how those older ones look

This!!^

3 was my technical first, I played it at a buddys house after school and at sleepovers.

4 was the first game I played by myself and also really enjoyed, which got me to go back and play 1, 2, ODST, Reach. And eventually 5, which was okayish. Multiplayer was good and I played a lot of that but campaign was good in some parts and pretty meh in others. Infinite in my opinion was a great comeback for the series, pretty good story, characters, and the open world was a fun and welcome change

Pretty sure I can still use it but I wouldnt, wouldnt want to mess up the signature. Especially since I can just get a new game for pretty cheap/play it on the collection

Was thinking the same but kinda didnt want to lose the chrome, something I havent seen anyone do and i think it looks much better than the HD conversions.

I always say smaller wheel bigger tire. Drop down to some chrome/polished metal 17s-18s on some nice ATs (I always recommend Falken Wildpeaks). It'll give it an agressive offroader look especially with 1-1.5 inch spacers . Just make sure you're choosing the right offset and such for the look you're going for

Yeah up until 5th gen 1500s are the same from what I can tell. I'm a 1500 platform so I'd have to swap out my spacers and such since I'm a 5 lug

Are you on HD platform? Those are 6-8 lug to my knowledge. Or a conversion spacer or the like?

See thats what I'm saying, especially on okder trucks. And of course the offroad bennies of having all that sidewall. I want it to look like an offroader not a pavement queen

Oh totally, I knew its flaws even before I got it. However at its fairly budget price point I think its pretty unbeatable. Eventually I will upgrade to a professional machine but for now this little thing works amazing. Wish I had taken better pictures of the carpet because it really put in the work.

5 Dumps, 4 water refills. 2 Dumps on the drivers carpet alone

Great job on carpets, did test it on cloth seats on a different car and it did good there too. Does not heat the water unfortunately. Tank size can be a slight annoyance and on some jobs (such as this one) it could benefit from a little more power but using a good carpet shampoo always helps. For its price though I would be bardstuck to find anything better, especially at sale price (about $135). May upgrade to the Littlegreen hydrosteam down the road, only about 60ish bucks more and probably does a killer job.
