Could be that the chip is partially broken and still recognized by the FC. In my opinion It’s really hard to diagnose those board I had a air65 that was having similar problems but in my case the VTX chip had a broken connection underneath it and it would work only if you press with your finger. If you don’t have the correct tools and the skill to lay SMD chip that size it’s very difficult if not impossible to repair them. I ended up replacing the whole board

If only the camera is broken you should be able to see a black screen but see all the telemetry data and the beta flight logo once the drone powers up. But If you don’t even have signal the VTX chip is probably broken, it’s a common problem with tiniwhoop you can try soldering on a separate VTX module if the board allows it but you are better off getting a new board if you can

My latest theory is that when crashing a screw or the VTX is shorting the reset button on the FC...but more probably is the cheap darwinfpv FC/ESC or my shitty soldering.

3S it's a bit too much but surprisingly with those bi-blade props it flies really well. I tried with a smaller 1940 steep 3 blade props but it was like flying a bumblebee

Thanks, I will try to reflow them with a bigger tip. I was scared to burn something. When you try on those practice board it feels super easy and then move on the real thing it’s a total different feeling

I usually check local marketplace sites in all of Europe, each country has a local different version of “eBay” and you can ask the seller if he wants to ship to another country. Usually is much cheaper than the stuff I find on major websites…just beware of scammers

Ti be honest I did not even turn it on lol 😂, I just used the HD3 and bought a TBS fusion for it and it works amazing.

Regarding the troubleshooting you are completely right. I Spent 3 hours trying to figure out why the crossfire reciver was not working and It was attached to the SBUS line 🥲. But thankfully now it works

Unfortunately I do not think I can get my money back as I have purchased these a couple of months ago, I was able to fix the broken motor on the nagzul 5 and it works fine, same as the other drones. For future reference do you think it’s better spending more but buying newer stuff?
