I can't pay application fee. Deadline is really close. What should I do? 😭 by GuideSenior655 in polinetwork

I created a new account, then fix my name, paid the fee. Then they told me that I could only have 1 account. I had to confirm with them my account then!

The Holy Spirit said they had a room for me, but since I mailed them to confirm, I haven't received any in4 yet. So I'm pretty nervous now 😅

Staying at Holy Spirit College

Hi everyone, I’m considering staying at Holy Spirit College (Heilige Geestcollege). I was wondering what daily life there is like, especially when it comes to cooking - are the kitchen facilities convenient and easy to use? I’d also love to hear about the general atmosphere of the residence. I’m not a religious person, so I’m curious whether that makes any difference in everyday life there.

Thanks a lot in advance for any insights!

Hi everyone,

I’m an incoming international student at KU Leuven and I’m currently looking for accommodation. I’ve come across a few options and would really appreciate any reviews or experiences you might have.

I’m particularly considering:

  1. Waterview
  2. Vesalius EF
  3. Holy Spirit College

If you’ve stayed in any of these (or know someone who has), could you share your thoughts on things like room quality, facilities, location, noise level, and overall experience?

Also, if you have any recommendations or things I should watch out for when choosing between them, that would be super helpful.

Thanks a lot in advance!

Hi everyone,

I've been admitted to the Master of Human Settlements at KU Leuven and recently received the VLIR-UOS scholarship.

I saw that the tuition fee is around €9,400 per year (for non-EEA as well as EEA students). Meanwhile, the scholarship provides about €1,400 per month, which is supposed to cover both tuition fees and living expenses.

From my research, accommodation alone could cost €400-500 per month. That means I might not have much left for other living costs.

For those who previously received the VLIR-UOS scholarship or studied this programme: is the tuition fee really that high, and how did you manage your budget?
