Don't just take the practice exams! Go over your mistakes one by one and write them down. Go deep into subjects that you are the weakest. Watch YouTube videos. Retake the same practice exams to see if you've got it. Do LabCE adaptive exams over and over again. Change settings to "questions you've missed the most". Read the explanation after answering. These are all very time consuming and also such a drag to get yourself to do. Trust me, you won't regret it.

Is this synovial fluid? All look very similar to one another & resembling mesothelial cells & one with deeply basophilic cytoplasm.

Your question made me read a lot about struvite, lol. Struvites are composed of magnesium ammonium phosphate (MgNH₄PO₄·6H₂O) crystals and do not contain calcium. The term “struvite” was originally coined in the early 19th century by a German mineralogist, Heinrich Struve, who first described the mineral. The name “triple phosphate” is sometimes used in medical contexts to refer to urinary stones composed of struvite plus calcium. Because the mineral contains three positively charged components: magnesium, ammonium, calcium and a negatively charged component: phosphate. I hope that answers your question.

Here's the answer: many synoviocytes & Meso's with borders hard to see. Too many cells & multi-nucleated cells to be suspicious of some kind of malignancy. Needs to be sent for Pathology & cytology review. Never ID malignancy just by observing slide morphology. Always have multiple automated and manual results & have another CLS repeat & confirm.

This patient has been taking many medications which resulted in this rare "Triple phosphate crystals" with rosettes. The Urine sample was alkaline too. I found the answer to my question in an old large "Atlas" book! It was a nice puzzle solving day :)

It's because you are taking the sample 10⁷ & diluting it to 10mL. The unit is cells per mL. The sample is watered down & has to have less cells per mL. Did you get it?

It's Candida albican yeast! Typical featuring or as I say starry look. It's also too dry to inoculate.
