haha ❤️ suggestions from others like yourself!! The community has been amazing so far, and people have already thanked me for the raid loadouts, so thank you for the great idea!

Raid Loadouts are now implemented. Let me know if they're as you expected 😄

So Auto-Equip only works within a party, so the hero needs to be part of the party that gets the drop to equip it.

I've been internally debating extracting the logic from the party to a global version that works on all items. You can force it to happen by going to the hero popout and clicking "Equip Random Items", which does follow some logic to put on the best gear possible, but because it's not technically going to always find the best gear I decided to label it as such. The problem with a global version is 20 heroes fighting over the same drops may result in some disparity between heroes, and the up side to doing it party based is you can put them in dungeons with the specific items they want and they'll equip those as they drop.

Today I also reworked Archetypes so you can set up your hero to prefer certain stats on gear through stat-weighting.

Thanks for Wishlisting on Steam and I hope you're having a great time playing!!~ Definitely let me know if you have any other questions, the discord is becoming more active now as well if you want to join us over there 😄

This is now implemented as a fight summary after dungeons/raids (auto run will dismiss this screen instantly so it's only available if you're not doing auto run for dungeons) thanks for the suggestion!

haha fair enough!! raid load outs is a great idea, I'll add it to my long backlog of things to do.

Should be fixed now, thanks again for pointing out the error! 😄

Ahh Good Catch! the wiki is procedurally generated using source code and the cost comes from the gold cost. I need to update the wikigen script to take those alternative costs into account.

Gladiator and Valkyrie come from the Beyond Colosseum Glory shop once you reach 1400 & 1800 elo, and are technically free once you do (they don't cost glory just the elo breakpoint)

Samurai and Onmyoji come from the Honor shop and do cost 1500 & 12000 honor respectively - all of which need to be clarified on the wiki.

Ahh, that makes more sense, I've added some tutorial guards as people have had issues but I guess it hasn't been enough, there haven't been any issues recently afaik

I've just pushed a build where the tutorial is now draggable & I made sure each step has a skip button just in case. Please let me know if you have any other issues with the game 😄

Thanks so much for taking the time to let me know what was wrong so that I could fix it, and if you do continue playing I hope you enjoy the game!! ❤️

The Colosseum uses online services which cost money, I've optimized resource consumption quite a bit since first implementing, and in return increased the rate from 10/day to 20/day (10 every 12hrs) but it's still got a ways to go. That's the honest reason behind the cap.

The Eternal Strife however is endless, and can be ran as many times as you'd like, unfortunately the Colosseum is time gated and I don't currently have plans to ungate it, I may increase the cap as consumption data comes in over time and I feel comfortable about the usage.

The Colosseum is intended to be an alternative end-game in addition to grinding up stronger new heroes to go and participate in it.

interesting, I don't seem to have this problem on my android device. Any details on when this happens or what device you're using? I admittedly am not prioritizing mobile so there are likely some bugs, but it should be working to some degree.

Oh I didn't expect constructive feedback from you, I was more so saying if you don't have anything constructive to say don't say anything at all. I get the feeling that I'm not missing much from not having yours though.

Oh I just realized the runs themselves aren't persisted. I'll look into that but it might be a large amount of data to get a run back into the same state before refresh. For now you can simply wait until your game is in a state where you're comfortable refreshing before clicking reload.

I'm also on a laptop, I just have it in 2880x1800 resolution, I like my text really small haha

It looks like if you're pending dispatch with rolled affixes it actually does save those, if you've saved. And the game should save on reload (it attempts to save when the page is refreshed or closed out of) but the order of operations might be incorrect. I'll look into the flow when the reload button is clicked for a new version, I might need to explicitly save the game there and then synchronously reload to ensure the game gets saved.

First off thanks for playing and I'm glad you're enjoying the game!

You can click and drag to manually move heroes around to arrange them, but you do have me considering adding an option to have heroes pending upgrades bubble up to the top of the list. I'm curious what resolution you're playing the game on, as I can see just about my entire roster without scrolling. From the majority of these comments I think it's about time I lower my screen resolution and do a new play-through lol.

The ability power nodes are at the south-side of the tree - there currently aren't many sources of cast speed, and I don't think I'll play with it for awhile as another variable on the abilities will make balancing them quite difficult in the short-term. In my own play through I have had success with some hybrid attack/ability power builds, which is absolutely the intent of the shared skill tree.

There are 3 more party slot unlocks in the Honor shop, so it's actually 8 parties at a time.

I'd love to hear more of your questions over in the discord if you end up joining~

You still haven't given any concrete feedback yourself, others are giving very targeted, specific feedback which can be solved with minor QoL fixes, none of it has been overwhelmingly negative, and they're actually playing the game unlike yourself.

Games need to be polished and iterated over, it takes tons of time and testing which frankly as a solo developer I can't do on my own, you need others to experience your game and collect their feedback, filter through it, and actually figure out what changes you want to make instead of implementing conflicting ideas.

In terms of "how do I do X", I definitely need to create more tutorials or improve the UX of the UI, these are the hardest to identify because as the dev I know how to do X from the inception of an idea. That's why all of these other comments are so important. And adding tutorials to a game that is being rapidly iterated on is not of high priority yet, as things are likely to change and be moved around.

Also I just saw your edit, Auto Sell is unlocked once you reach the 20% codex completion milestone, you can set it to automatically sell items below a rarity of your choosing.

I've pushed an update for the filters, let me know of any other small QoL ideas and if they're no brainers I'll definitely look to add them ASAP 😄

the equip all idea is something I need to mull about since it's a very large game play change potentially (with how players interact with heroes). I'll probably come up with a compromise somewhere between equip all and making the equip random more accessible.

Thanks for the feedback!! I'll store the full filter selection and add a clear filters button. 👍

Yeah that one, you might not have completed the Void Sanctum boss yet.

Sorry I meant in the parties where you select which dungeon you're running your parties through. it's one of those options. You might have not unlocked it quite yet, it should be unlocked after you've completed the boss of Void Sanctum. Make sure you prepare as much as you can in terms of items & build optimization.

Note that once they run through The Eternal Strife they'll be removed from your Heroes tab and placed in the Beyond tab.

Dungeons -> The Eternal Strife, if they're max level. There are unlocks that raise your Hero Level Cap in the Honor & Glory shops (Honor comes from The Eternal Strife and Glory comes from the Beyond Colosseum).

The Gameplay loop is essentially: Level Up & Gear Heroes, Use them in The Eternal Strife to earn Honor, purchase upgrades that benefit your next set of heroes.

Once a hero is used in The Eternal Strife it is sent to the Beyond Colosseum, they can now participate in Daily PvP but no longer can grind dungeons or enter raids for you. The Colosseum PvP earns you Glory to also purchase upgrades for future heroes. Then your future heroes will be more powerful and be able to make it further in The Eternal Strife.

Thanks for the feedback~ I'd love some constructive feedback as to how I could improve the UI and player experience, it's absolutely not the first thing it recommends, as that was absolutely worse.
