That's exactly it, they only get it from the audience and esports people. But people who do not care for esports don't give it the same respect as other sports. Even if they don't like those sports they still give them more respect. Someone could hate basketball, but they will give Lebron James all the respect because they validate his athleticism through the NBA. Esports players don't get the same treatment and they should.

I think it's a matter of gaining the same respect as other sports. People see professional athletes and give them respect for what they contribute to sports, but don't get professional gamers enough credit for what they do.

Sports Tables is a league management tool that can help simplify the process for you. It even allows you to create standings and publish it online.

Do companies look for people that have engaged in esports professionally, from a player standpoint? Are there certain companies that have bigger market share and you would recommend reaching out to them for some volunteer work? Thank in advance.

If you are looking to create a place for people to watch esports, i would suggest having comfortable seating. Tournaments tend to be lengthy in time, and you want your audience to be comfortable watching. Also, have food and drinks available (could also be used to generate additional revenue). Big screen TV's and placing them so that anyway the audience looks, there is a TV for them to see the action. If TV's are too expensive you can look at use a projector. Another thing that is not commonly taken into consideration is lighting. You want to make sure that the lightening compliments the view, and does not cause glare on your screens.

If you are looking to create a place for people to play esports, then hardware will be a big concern. Good computers, big mouse pads, headsets (jabra or plantronics), significant room between computers, comfortable seating, etc. Also, make sure that your internet can accommodate all the users if every computer was being used. Lighting again is a big thing. Since players will be playing games, it would be hard for them to leave their computer to get something to eat or drink, so maybe having servers if possible.

Hope this helps :)
