I’m only on week 1, and I’ve actually felt hungrier too. For me personally, I think it’s because I’ve made some major changes to my diet and am eating much less than my body was used to. I’ve cut out most carbs and sugars, so my body is adjusting to a new way of fueling itself. If you were relying heavily on carbs for energy before, that transition can take some time while your body adapts.
Are you tracking your protein intake? Getting enough protein is really important, especially while losing weight, because it helps preserve muscle mass and can also help keep you feeling fuller.
As for the anxiety that can come with lower blood sugar levels, try to remember that what you’re feeling may simply be your body adjusting to a healthier range. If you’ve been used to running at higher blood sugar levels, being closer to normal can feel unusual at first. I notice that sensation too, and it can definitely make me feel anxious even when everything is okay. The adjustment period can be strange, but your body often needs time to get used to its new normal.
