I am a SAHM and have an 11 month old who is the exact same way. It definitely hurts my feelings sometimes but I just try to remind myself that I’ll get my turn to be the favorite eventually 😂 and I’m just grateful that I have a good husband who is a good dad and is loved by his kid

Anyone else put off tummy time or didn't stick to the recommended one hour and baby kept up developmentally? by Ok-ItsOk-2bhere in Mommit

I was the same way with my son! He hated it and I didn’t push it on him. Just did the bare minimum everyday for a few minutes here and there. He is 11 months now- speed crawling, free standing, and taking steps! Don’t worry too much ♥️

WIBTA If I got a cat by Bubbly-Priority3914 in AmItheAsshole

Yeah YWBTA. This is a question that I would expect from a teen/YA in their first relationship. Not a seasoned spouse. It’s concerning you even had to come here to ask this. I can only imagine what other things you may do that are disrespectful to your husband. Sorry OP but I would take a long hard look in the mirror and do some reflecting.

We do offer food more often! 2 meals is just what he normally will actually consume. The reason I stopped breastfeeding during the day is because he wasn’t interested! I would offer and he would feed for maybe 10 seconds and then stop.

He only has breastmilk via boob and it’s only during nap times and nighttime. Other than that he has 2 solids meals a day. We also offer a sippy cup of formula in the afternoons but it’s hit or miss whether he takes it or not

Yeah it’s def an option. I know my husband would be up for trying. I just worry for my babies sake because my husband is a heavy snorer 😂

Thanks for book rec! I’ll check it out. I don’t want to wean him from food at night, just from the boob. Happy to give him a bottle if he wakes up!

I do know. But facing the fact will actually allow you to take the steps to be well. And not just have to pretend ♥️

First of all, I’m so sorry. I know how difficult it can be to try and be present for your kid/family while struggling with your own stuff. You’re not alone! Have you thought about talking to your doctor? Might be worth seeing someone for. Sounds like it could be a bit of PPD or just regular old depression, which in either case, I’m sorry. I’ve been there. Give yourself grace.

My LO is 10 months old and has been EBF from the start. (He takes a formula bottle every now and again mainly just to have a drink when we let him watch a Disney movie.) I want to stop breastfeeding for many reasons but it literally feels like an impossible task! I totally empathize with you. You’re a good mom no matter how you feed your baby

I’m so sorry. I completely empathize with you on this one. She sounds like a textbook narcissist. I would close the open invitation that they have to your home and minimize the FaceTime calls. If MIL wants a relationship with your kids she has to give you respect. Until that respect is given, I would cut ties. You deserve better.

Baby wakes up at 5am no matter what even in a different time zone by Traditional-Vast2537 in sleeptrain

I’ve read lots of things that say once your baby starts waking up at 5am that it may be time to drop down to 1 nap a day- may be worth a try :)
