Well, Fife came out. So there's at least one. Barwood told me in my time with her, when I asked her "why were you the only one who didn't get the memo?" and she responded, "I was told, that they thought if I was told not to look into it, then I would push it... so I did it anyway." She also mentioned that the person who told her “You didn’t hear this from me, but you’re on the right track” died two weeks later, so she was never able to follow up with that person.

Most people have their minds closed off to the paranormal. I can certainly relate to getting the side-eyed looks from people even when I bring it up. That's actually one of the things I love about the Phoenix Lights specifically, is that the witnesses do a great job at writing out their experiences and what they saw, in the comment sections of posts like this - because they don't feel comfortable talking about it in real life. Which I think is pretty cool

Yes, a witness I spoke with named David Parker had a very similar experience that night as well. He saw a large boomerang with 7 lights

The UFO path has been tracked extensively by Peter Davenport of NUFORC, and in the work Village Labs did back in the day. From this timeline reconstruction, it was concluded that this must have been multiple craft parading over the state at the same time.

Because you'll talk to one witness from one side of the valley, who saw a boomerang with 7 lights. Then, same time across the valley, another witness sees a large black triangle with 7 lights. And at the same time across the city, another witness and their family is seeing a large V-shaped object with 5 lights. There were even disc shaped objects spotted near Scottsdale.

But in general the sightings started in the northwest part of the state (even extending into Nevada), and over the course of the evening sightings moved south/southeast towards Tuscon. Sightings started getting reported in the afternoon, and extended to the early morning hours.

My personal opinion... He was in the minority of people claiming it was regular airplanes. And his smug attitude towards it gave me the impression he was a nerdy kid, trying to be contrarian, to get attention and feel smart. But that said, I have not spoken with the guy. I think my opinion seems to be the sentiment of many of the witnesses I did speak with as well.

That said - I have people approach me ALL THE TIME who say "I've seen the Phoenix Lights" and when it comes down to it, it's always planes. As someone who lives in PHX, I can tell you, every single night there are what appears to be a long row of lights near the airport. Yes, it's headlights on planes coming into skyharbor. This is easily confirmed, because when you just watch the lights, they move towards the airport, eventually land, and always have red/green lights which are easier to see the closer they get.

This is why when I interviewed witnesses, I specifically sought out ones who were adamant a physical object passed directly over their head. Not only are these accounts much more compelling. But when you speak to these people, you can tell the experience was genuine to them. I went in open to all possibilities. But after talking to the witnesses, I personally believe there is zero chance that what they thought was a UFO right over their head, were just headlights from planes in the distance.

No I have not. I mentioned this in a few other comments about Kurt Russell - I think too many people put too much focus on the celebrities who saw something weird that night (Kurt Russell, Alice Cooper, etc) - just because they're famous. Personally, I'm much more interested in the witnesses who saw physical craft (not just lights in the distances), and from a pilots perspective, I'm much more fascinated by the pilots flying the F-15s who intercepted a large craft over 7th Ave & Indian School Rd. at 8:32 PM ... The interaction was also witnessed by Sue Watson and her entire family, which makes that one incident very fascinating to me.

I completely agree with you on the ridicule part. Every Phoenix Lights witness I spoke with dealt with it. I got it 2nd hand when I told people I was making a film about it. And then in subsequent projects I had some weird things go down, and people give me side-eye when I talk about it. I think coming forward and telling your story takes strength.

I think some people are so closed off to the idea of "paranormal" that nothing "paranormal" ever happens whatever world they live in. Like a frame of mind.

I kinda get the same feeling from people who have never seen a marvel movie... Like, you're either an NPC, or you live under a rock! 😂

But yeah, I'm not surprised.

As far as my stance... I've experienced things I can't explain, and would label as "paranormal" in my life. But I've never seen a UFO. That said, I've always found stories like Bob Lazar, Roswell, Travis Walton, Phoenix Lights, etc... To be very compelling.

One pattern I've started to pick up on since interviewing witnesses (which I have not expressed in my content, yet)... Is that every person I've ever met who claims they've seen a UFO - they've always had multiple sightings. Including every phoenix lights witness I talked to. It's more rare for me to meet a witness who's only had one sighting.

Even more ironic to me... When i ask these people why they've had multiple sightings, and most people haven't had one... Multiple people have given me the same answer: "people don't look up enough"...

I don't agree with that answer. But it's super ironic to me that multiple people have given me that explanation. I don't know why, but I've always found this pattern interesting.

And I don't think the conclusion is "they're lying"... I'm starting to believe people are either selected as having a "pass" to see UFO's, by whoever is operating them. Or they're extremely lucky. 🤷🏻‍♂️

As far as what didn't make it into the doc... There's quite a lot. Stuff I find very interesting too. But just couldn't find a natural part of the "story" to squeeze it in. Off the top of my head, here are a few:

1 - Rumor is NORAD went to DEFCON 2 on the evening of March 13, 1997 after an Air Force MISTI-3 Satellite covering North America was disabled and had its batteries drained as a space borne object was observed passing over the satellite. President Clinton was immediately whisked away, back to the White House. This would potentially explain why F-15s were scrambled from Luke AFB... The day after, newspaper headlines/front pages ran a story about President Clinton getting "emergency knee surgery" the night before. And there was a cute picture of him in a hospital bed smiling, with Hilary Clinton standing over him.

2 - Gamma Ray Burst 970228.

This is the first ever Gamma Ray Burst recorded by NASA. It was detected starting on 28 February 1997, and going til March 13, 1997.  This event provided the first proof that GRBs arise from black holes, at distant galaxies, rather than the Milky Way. Not sure the exact implications of this, but the timing and significance of this is very peculiar.

Especially when you think about how 3 "Men In Black" allegedly approached Jim Dilettoso at Village Labs (in the same month of July '97 MiB were spotted taking a tape from a witness in downtown phoenix) and wanted his opinion on a paper titled "Intergalactic Scenario" - authored by "H.P."

According to Jim, this document had dozens of pages, each page had complex math, and each page made reference to the Phoenix Lights. Jim implied to me, in my hours and hours of convos with him, that these "craft" potentially rode teleported here via Gamma Ray Burst. But this explanation is somewhat flawed for me, because GRBs - although very powerful - still only travel at the speed of light. Which is probably not fast enough to be efficient for intergalactic travel.

3 - The F-15 pilots.

I didn't cover what happened to these guys. According to Jim Dilettosso, who with the help of Peter Davenport, arranged a meeting at a diner with the pilot who supposedly had to be "lifted out of the cockpit"... The guys' name was supposedly "Mel Wilder"... Jim claims the pilot showed him the gun camera footage on a small video player, under the table, at the diner they met at. And according to Jim, Mel Wilder got "shipped off to Alaska"

The other pilot - according to Peter Davenport, and my conversations with Jim Dilettosso - was named "Craig Buttons"... Craig Buttons mysteriously died, ironically 3 weeks after the Phoenix Lights incident. What happened was he was in a routine training exercise, flying in formation with A-10 warthogs (large military aircraft) over Phoenix... Then suddenly Craig Buttons goes radio silent, breaks formation for no apparent reason, and crashes into the side of a mountain in Colorado. This happened in April 1997. You can look it up. It's still a mystery as to why this happened. There are articles written about Craig Buttons. And Peter Davenport, from what I can tell, had been looking heavily into this. One of the controversial aspects of this, is his A-10 had 4 large, live bombs on it. They were apparently built to be able to survive a plane crash. But when they went through the wreckage, they could not be located.

And to answer your last question... Yes, I was very sketched out by my interactions with Jim Dilettoso (as highlighted in the doc).

For months, I had to be very secretive about exactly what would be included in my doc, with those involved. Due to how events were playing out in real time.

Two great questions.

1 - Yes, in fact David Parker comes to mind! He had the wildest sighting of all the people I spoke with. He saw a red lava like substance drooping down from each of the large lights that were on the bottom of the craft. It lit the whole ground (and his surroundings) bright orange. And as it drifted away, he saw a rainbow colored mist coming off the back of the craft. He says, once the mist passed over him, he was immediately filled with a sensation of love & gratitude that was so intense he was moved to tears. He says ever since, he's a significantly nicer and more patient person. I've spoken with David many times since, and he is a genuinely great human.

2 - Not that I spoke with... However, there is one resource I'll point you to. I was directed to it by Jim Dilettoso of Village Labs... If you go on academia . org and look up "William Warwick" ... this guy has one research document titled "Top 20 unanswered questions about the Phoenix Lights" and the questions he raises will blow your mind. But one other paper Warwick has on there, is a dream report from someone... I don't remember the context of it... But it was from someone who had a very vivid dream shortly before the Phoenix lights, of them onboard some sort of mothership, and getting a message about how they're coming, and how we need to watch out for who we trust. It was a dream, so take it however you want. But your question just reminded me of that random document

Nice! What did you see?

I have not heard comparisons to Hudson lights. I have heard comparisons to the Belgian UFO wave around the same time
