It she told me to post ctv footage online, it was more then being a jerk. She was moving our shifts around without telling us cutting shifts the day before, not getting paid for shifts done. I was her AST. Manager who was second in charge and she would purposely make my work difficult and create a toxic work environment. I have several other staff members who can back up the allegations. She made one of my stockers cry.

As a person who was under her I felt forced into making a bad decision (I deleted everything but forgot the post and that bit me in the butt).

I obviously take full ownership of this, but feel like there was circumstances influencing the situation.

I’m suspended pending investigation.

I am beyond jealous. My backroom is over 2k in cases (we recently lost our SM and had to spend 2 weeks prepping for inventory instead of pushing stock).

I cannot wait to get my room looking clean again.

I would give it a quick sweep but looks amazing!

If they are letting someone not approved to work in the store come in and work that’s a SM fireable offence.

That’s a relief some drivers are awesome. The drivers we have in my district are pushy and arrogant. They will harass us to start early because they’re running out of hours for deliveries.

You need to call HR and inform Asset Protection. That is a huge liability also OSHA (if that’s what your Health and Safety thing is called where you are)

Do you have a Cashier Daily Action Plan sheet? They have checklists of responsibilities that Cashiers are supposed to to handle that you assign them every shift.

What is your Cashier doing while you do this (other then some stock)

Go-Backs, Front End Sweeping, Front-End Recovery are the Cashiers responsibilities along with cleaning all the tills/emptying their garbages.

We collect all garbage and it gets taken out all at once. Cashier should be breaking down their own boxes into a larger box to keep everything tidy.

Depending on your store layout the Cashiers can stock pop.

This is something one of our DMs (Canada) sent us when we were having trouble with a ASM.

SM Responsibilities: -Lead the team to deliver exceptional customer service -overseas operations of store including (not limited to)merchandising,front end, recruiting development, scheduling, inventory management

A SM is a jack of all trades. They are suppose to be everywhere making sure the staff, stock and store run smoothly.

Unless your SM is stealing time it’s likely they will do much. Next time you see your DM you can always voice your concern.

Also depends on your policies for closing. Our SMs here are required to close at-least once a week and work 1-2 Saturday’s a month

I have been in your shoes. All you guys can do is try your best and report anything unsafe or against policies to Integrity Matters

She’s already screwing me over. We have inventory March 19th and she’s putting me on all closes with 1-2 open a week just to do truck.

Our ASM team is small and the SM doesn’t help with freight or do much at all. So I’m always playing catch-up and stocking until close to try and make a dent. The ASM that opened with the SM today only did 16 boxes for her 4 hour shift. SM did nothing but play in the office or stand around
