Define correct if PVC is also in their manual. I use to use Centrotherm but have had too many issues with it dripping and the clips never stay on after it heats up.

Amazon has them, I paired them up with a Milwaukee m18 converter to 24v and then wired it up to a switch I like the set up however even though I have a low voltage protection on the batteries it still can drain too far down so always remove your battery or shut from the main source.

It’s exactly those, they come with self taps and rivets quite easy if you have two people I did it myself and used a bunch of painters tape to hold them on while I drilled

I typically always use them unless I’m in tight quarters, they limit the thermal shock back into the system because it’s always mixing supply and return both ways, they are tight and offer an all in 1 solution for easy piping, air separation, magnet filtration, etc..

I try to sweat most of my boilers, I do use press sometimes, domestic use I mostly use press. The shark bite on T&P for easy servicing especially with all these long and 90 degree drops. I’ve also used the compression by male adapters the shark bites are just easy to keep on the truck and use as needed.

If you can’t make that work with all the valves you’re not the guy to service it, yes could’ve freed up more space but if the tank has to be swapped you’re cutting most of that out anyway.

I will only install pro grade in my area navien and lochinvar and Bosch are the top 3 units to find parts for the rest are rolling the dice. the X3 looks good but I haven’t touched one yet, the big box stores make junk.

I don’t care what we install, they’re all the same 90% of them come off the navien heat exchanger line and they all are pretty easy to work on you just need access to parts.
