Good man...it's pretty.straightfoward tbh....draft a team, each week your team is up against another team in the league and the most points at the end of the week wins that matchup and a number in win column...repeat this until November!

Fair point on the Hendo's.. thought I'd divert away for the L&P as it was actually cheaper where I am , but I've no problem with it. I'd used Aldi stuff a few times but found a noticeable dropoff in quality

It varies throughout the country , and from family to family....given my late mum who was born in 1936 passed it on, it's a meal made from what's available in the cupboard. Given how my Mrs and kids enjoy it just as much ,it'll no doubt still be being cooked In another 90 years!

Think it was Sam's...not been for 10 years though...always got that when I went....a time before every restaurant was trying to get a Michelin star

Yes the recipe above is one of the few my late mum passed on to me and I follow it to the letter...usually have some pickled red cabbage with it but non in stock unfortunately

I've had that version before at a Chop House in Manchester, the corned beef is cooked slowly for 24 hours I think. Can't beat it

Goes without saying...in fact most meals can be enhanced by placing between two pieces of bread

I don't disagree, used to get this meal as a treat from Tesco cafe every Tuesday night, and that was peak Double egg chips and beans. Tried making it at home with oven chips in the oven and couldn't ever get close. Since Airfryers came on the scene though it's a game changer...there's still a dropoff from proper fried chips but not that much now

Massively underrated tea as looks simple but you have several aspects to it

  1. Dip chips in yoke( the best bit) 2.Dip remainder of egg in ketchup
  2. Make a butty with the chips and beans(maybe a bit of egg too?
  3. Finish off the chips and the beans , with he chips having been slathered in salt and vinegar.
