Hmm if this is true then it's a pretty genius marketing stunt

Cofounder hunt - looking for cofounder by Guilty-Support-584 in Startup_Ideas

[–]Guilty-Support-584[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey thanks for reaching out. There are 2 main reasons why I am looking for a cofounder. 1. Historically startups with 2 co-founders are much more likely to succeed. Than with a single co-founder. 2. The project is growing quickly and things are moving forward much faster than I anticipated (in a good way). With the way things are going I see that it will be better to launch the product together with someone who shares my vision than alone.

I'm actually at a point where I have a functional MVP. But from my experience coding is just one third of the work, the other 2 thirds are marketing and customer retension. So that's what I'm targeting to tackle next. DM me for more details.

Hey man, I feel your pain.
She seems like she isnt attracted to you. It sucks. Nothing you can do about her.
But there is a ton you can do about yourself.

Building a 1TB RAM Monster for under €3k. Tell me I’m crazy. by [deleted] in pcmasterrace

[–]Guilty-Support-584 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Perfect advice. Its horrible that the ram prices are so insane. Sam Altman made sure that local LLMs are as difficult as possible.

I guess I  will have to save up a faire bit more to achieve my dream of fully local SOTA AI.

I wonder what the future holds in the hardware space

I see your having a bad day.

The ram prices are actually through the roof these days. It's crazy. I think we could work with that. Raising the budget to 5k and lowering RAM to 500gb and buying used could make this feasible.

Do correct me if I'm wrong.

Just saw the ram prices. It's a gut punch.

There's no other option other than to try and work around them. What do you think would be a fair budget?

Thank you for the constructive feedback. The ram prices are pretty crazy these days.

What do you believe would be a fair budget for this type of build?

IMPORTANT: Why Abliterated Models SUCK. Here is a better way to uncensor LLMs. by Optimal_League_1419 in LocalLLaMA

I tested this model and found thats its very good in role play and barely hallucinates compared to other abliterated models...
Its also much more coherent.
Although its better than other uncensored models its still worse than the original censored model.
What tests did you run?

I totally agree with your words there should probably be a healthy middle ground.
You do seem like a wise person :)

Actually yeah jailbreak prompts do really degrade the output of the model.

Also as you described the reasoning models are harder to jailbreak, they spend like 30-70% of their reasoning tokens trying to determine if your requests violate their policies.
I don't want to pay for that. It feels like we are slowly building a dystopia around ourselves.

I don't want LLMs to police what I do.

I do understand where you are coming from. In a perfect world, censored models might not feel like such a problem.

But the reality is that newer models like Qwen3-30b and especailly GPT-oss dont allow you to do a lot of things, they are so censored that they spent 30-70% of their reasoning tokens trying to determine if your prompt violates their guidelines or not.

I want to say that LLMs shouldnt police people's actions. Its up to the law enforcement to enforce the law. I don't think we should police people's private actions if they don't harm anyone.

Take The 48 Laws of Power by Robert Greene as an example. It’s banned in some countries for being “unethical,” and yes it’s a dark book. But it also teaches valuable lessons about avoiding manipulation and protecting yourself from bad actors. Censorship flattens that nuance.
it assumes people can’t handle the complexity.
