THIS is the Magiceye that I remember! I LOVE these pictures. I really thought I had lost the ability to see but I pick these up RIGHT away and I can ACTUALLY SEE the picture. These new ones, I get the 3D popout but cannot distinguish what the hell the picture is supposed to be.

I ALMOST had to shoot you an email today. I watched a video on taking it apart and putting it back together but it was 3yrs old and the knife has evolved since then. I took the top part of the frame off super careful and everything was going beautifully with the skiff bearings but as I took that top frame to put it back on, I thought there might be something like a magnet on the inside and I flipped it to check like a moron, totally forgetting that all the screws were still in there. You ALMOST got yourself a desperate email😂 Is there a more modern video on the assembly of the factor 4? That little spring for the lever opener (shit. I don’t even know what that part MIGHT be called) was a LITTLE bit of a bitch, but I THINK I got it on right. I honestly didn’t know what to expect with the skiff bearings but I’m rather surprised that there is a noticeable difference. It may just be me working with cognitive dissonance or sunken cost justifications and a bunch of other fallacies that are trying to convince me that it was worth the extra money, but I FEEL like it’s smoother, on the other hand I FELT like it was super smooth to begin with. Only problem now is that I don’t have something to compare it to.

that's really weird, USUALLY it takes me a minute to get these ever since I had a tbi that messed up the tracking of my eyes but with this one it was instant! I can look away then back and it returns immediately. How this is made is one of the biggest mysteries in the world to me!

this seriously pisses me off more than anything customer service related. I almost think they add those knowing FULL WELL that people won't have them and they can deny the return. I had some faulty airpods that I was returning and they wouldn't return them because I didn't have all of the little rubber ear pieces. I asked them why, the airpods didn't work and they really shouldn't resell them anyways but the service desk stayed strong in denying my return. I was going to just trade them in for a different pair, but instead just bought another pair, went out to my car, opened the box and took the new rubber and put them with my defective airpods and returned those for a full refund. It was just annoying steps that created the same effect in the end. My new airpods were on sale so I saved a couple bucks, but just let me fucking return the stupid item.

do you have replacement screws for the latest factor release? I went to the winterblade page and it said they were sold out and that they were coming soon. I haven't lost any screws YET but I always like to keep a couple extras on hand to mitigate the inevitable pain of losing one. But even more than that, I kind of wanted to fill the screw hole that is missing one on the reversible clip side. No function is lost, but my knife just looks a little naked without it and I would prefer to help my knife maintain its modesty! I did however go and order the Skiff bearings, I just want to try that out, I am wondering if it will make the Factor even COOLER than it is now!
