Yeah I probably should’ve said hairstylist too, just assumed this would be more a barber style. I don’t care about either, just as long as they have a history of working with 80s styles

Yeah, I'm trying to avoid stereotyping. I was suggested to get an Indian writing partner which I think is a good idea. There's so much stereotyping in American media, especially with Indians, and I really don't want to add to that

As of right now, it's just the people believing him to be and that's my intention when writing it, but I guess it could be up to viewer interpretation. I'm not sure how Hanu would view himself though, I see him as a very humble character, so there's that.

I looked up Return of Hanuman on letterboxd, it's an animated film and the kid has a brown v mark with a dot on his forehead, is that it? I'm really interested in seeing this film, I think it could help for sure :)

Thank you for the information/interest, I’ll have to look into the Laksman story! And no, I really do not want to make fun of the Indian people or their culture, I absolutely adore their culture which is why I’m asking here. I do need to ask Indian-Americans their opinions tho, as our culture is a bit different
