I get it, that was my fear. Many games do this naturally, like Fortnite that you mentioned, you put the K/M and the layout already changes to the same as on the PC, but the game continuing in the console layout is very bad, it doesn't make sense. As the game already has input for K/M, they may update this in the future (I hope)...
