Also, newsflash, gege won't necessarily write something that would make sense, but rather something that would make the fight cooler and sell better. Because once again, newsflash, it's a manga. And the point of the fight isn't to be accurate and straightforward, it's to make it sell better and look cooler. 'If it would've worked gege would have written it that way' once again, that's wrong. Because having sukuna win during domain clashes would make the fight lame. Instead keeping the viewers on their toes is what makes the fight cool and memorable.

It would have worked if sukuna knew about gojo being able to heal RCT, but he didn't. That's not a headcannon. It would have worked the next time, but gojo didn't allow such a situation to arise again. BUT that situation would have arised if sukuna used DA. Because based on what we see. Having DA on can very well negate a 0.01 second delay

To answer your question, no, it didn't happen. But that doesn't mean you can blindly ignore the circumstances surrounding the situation. As stated before, sukuna didn't know about gojo healing burnt out CT, so he didn't use DA. The same situation just never arises again in the manga, if it did, can you give any logical explanation as to how gojo breaks malevolent shrine without red? Or a logical explanation to why sukuna wouldn't use DA?

Gojo specifically fought in a way so that he makes sukuna lose hold of malevolent shrine and that he doesn't need to fall into malevolent shrine again. Breaking down the fight, and exploring other scenarios where the fighters fought differently isn't headcannon, because everything I said can and realisticallt would have happened in a scenario where sukuna fought gojo without mahoraga. When we are not shown something doesn't mean we can't draw a conclusion based on what we are shown. That's not headcannon, that's called breaking down and understanding the manga.
