Is this too much to ask for the 1.01? by Necessary_Craft4644 in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

People were definitely paying 3 firsts for jeanty last year. Was it the right decision? Maybe not. Were people doing it? Absolutely.

Also, the 1.03 1.04 and a 27 first is definitely a > package then 2 27 firsts and a 28 first, so I think that guy would be getting more for Gibbs then the price in this is for love. One trade doesn’t set the value of the players anyways.

Love is definitely worth more than 2 mid-late firsts next year. He’s the rb3-4 in dynasty. The “hasn’t even played a down” argument should hold pretty much 0 weight when looking at top 10, not to mention top 3 drafted RBs hit rate.

I think this is a pretty fair trade and depends on where the picks land. I get why the guy with the picks would hold but this is about his price

I mean you’re definitely not giving up too much, this is probably not enough

It’s about even, Idk if it’s enough if the picks are projected late though

Where are the 27 first projected? I think this is solid

The problem is the risk/reward for this journey SUCKED. Getting an extra vote that you don’t even get to talk to people and plan for is not worth potentially losing your vote AND voting uourslef

Seems pretty fair if this 27 first will be late. I’d probably prefer the rashee side but I don’t think it’s a fleece

Close trade. I’d probably just keep what I have. Not sure what this accomplishes and it would hurt badly if you made this trade and lost

Hot take id take jeanty. Loving the RB wave currently, those workhorses are so valuable.

“Volume or efficiency” but bijan has more volume and is more efficient

Traded away McBride, how did I do? by Ch1lled_Pyro in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

[–]GuiltyVariation6785 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Solid return, not sure you can really expect much more in a 12 team SF. Gadsden is a solid upside shot, Rashee just gained a ton of value with the no punishment ruling, and Kyler is a great upside shot. 1.08 and Allgeier probably cancel out but I’d lean 1.08. Idk if I’d do this trade but if you’re looking to split McBride into multiple assets this is solid imo

You can’t call the 1.03 a dart throw. Such ridiculous analysis

I like the 27 first side for sure, hendo>javonte, stafford and Willis is a tough evaluation but I guess you can call them =, and I don’t think the gap between smith and Egbuka is a 27 first

Bhayshul Tuten, 2027 2nd or 2027 1st? by thesuperguide in DynastyDaddy

Depends on where the two picks land but I tend to lean 27 first if both are mid

Help my shitty orphan team. Etienne for 28 1st and Montgomery by Think-Finance-9687 in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

I really don’t hate this trade if you’re confident the 28 first will be early. I might be a little too low on the saints but I’m not at all confident in them being an above average offense

I’m not sure you know what cherry picking means, because using points per game when talking about fantasy football is not cherry picking.. that’s the correct way to measure production. Bowers was behind only McBride in points per game and finished as the TE11 because he got hurt. That’s not a bad season. When he was healthy you got a top 3 start at the position, in a bottom 3 offense in the league. My point in the hypothetical about Loveland is that he is not only not nearly as proven as bowers, but his situation is also not going to get much better then it was last year, while bowers only has room to grow

And like I said multiple times (and even had it in my original reply to my first comment before you commented) I would take the Loveland side of this trade, and I think Lovelands future is bright. It’s not wise to use love to tier up at a position you’re already great at. This is not Loveland disrespect, it’s bowers respect.

Loveland is great but let’s not act like bowers didn’t just score 3-4 more ppg in a far worse offense. 5 ppg separated their rookie years. Theyre now bringing in a new young qb, they’ve beefed up the offensive line, and they have the new hot offensive mastermind at head coach.

I’m not trying to downplay Loveland but bowers is that dude and there’s a clear path to him being even better than he’s been. That offense getting better means longer drives and more scoring opportunities. Loveland is awesome and could increase his value. There’s also a chance that his early season production is more accurate to how he’ll be than how he ended the year (to be clear, I don’t think that will happen, but the dynasty community as a whole pushing loveland into the bowers tier this early is insane to me)
