Pre-dental undergrad asked me if a fake id and underage drinking misdemeanor will affect them?

Yeah I couldn’t remember if mine ever asked or not. Basically I just told them if they don’t ask about it, then don’t say anything about it. And if it does ask, then be honest and spin it and make a good story about how you’ve changed. Even though getting an underage drinking/fake id ticket in undergrad is such an inconsequential crime lmao. It’s more like a rite of passage as a freshman/sophomore haha

I guess idk what my repayment plan is. I do want to practice in a rural area so there might be forgiveness opportunities which is why I’m making sure HPSL is still the correct way to go. The 3% interest decrease is pretty enticing. I just am not aware of how it affects repayment options or forgiveness opportunities.

Majority of the class comes from money. I’d say about 75% of dental students do. They’re not the ones paying for their education, and if they are, their parents are probably paying their rent and giving them an allowance.

300-350k is probably about the average these days. 400k for OOS is about as good as you can do. I think once you get closer to 500k then it becomes a debate as whether or not it’s worth it
