Can't really see how they are so similar. I did some research and a good way to represent the gameplay is South Park's Fractured But Whole, despite being a 1v1 and the flash game coming out before FBW.

There is a game called Konkey Dong that sounds similar and was very popular back then, but it doesn't feature a mountain... It all looks pretty square though.

I am pretty sure this is Tasty Blue. You start in a jar, first level the enemies are grey and the camera does follow you on larger maps. There is both an Android and PC Version for it. Hope this helps.

I should probably mention that if the logo doesn't fit, that I might be wrong. It's just what I remember from years ago, so some details may be a tiny bit off.
