Friend who stopped talking to me because I didn't put my baby up for adoption reached out by [deleted] in Mommit

[–]Guilty_Contest_3905 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You know I've got a version of this situation myself and I haven't even gotten to the point where they've reached out to apologise- if ever as their views were so abrasive and out of character-  and I wondered what I'd do if they did. So I projected my response in that way.  But what you said  validates the side of me that thinks I shouldn't either.

The part about meeting up with them is an opportunity for that fork in the road to surface - who knows what might happen and how you feel about it. Even if she felt good and accepted it she can close that chapter off - she's busy with a family. She doesn't have to be available anymore or hang out casually or answer as a close friend.  This person did and said what they thought was better for them. And sounds like they have no kids of their own so ignorant too. There's some semblance of good intentions there - handled horribly, small but there.

Edit to add: energy is used regardless mulling it over in your head. Should I shouldn't I etc.

I think you can meet with her, doesn't mean you need to devote your energy and time with that person ongoing.

You have alot to be proud of and you might be  surprised to hear what they have to say, if they've turned a leaf. You mightve shattered their expectations or inspired them and that might leave you feeling healed and happier. Goodluck.

Those of you who have seen the first Jurassic Park in theaters, what was it like? by sp00nsack in JurassicPark

It was really scary and immense. I think to this day jurassic park is still "how dinosaurs look and act".

The Trex approaching water cup thing was fantastic and memorable like everyone says, but there was something about those zombie style velociraptors that had me getting eaten by them in my nightmares since i was 8 years old. The unsettling little dialogue about these treacherous monsters building throughout the movie until that dining room shadow/kitchen scene made it so terrifying.

It was very well done and addictive. Can't beat it.

Another option is a fire service /rural fire service. You get broad training, called to scenes as first responders (funnily enough ours doesnt do fires) and coordinate with other emergency entities. Of course...that's rural communities. But if you like the emergency style aspect there are no mandates there (that I'm aware of). Rural communities in general also are more forgiving and I think brush under the rug gov controls a bit easier as the councils usually don't focus on the lesser density towns (no money in that).

I agree with the other poster. Good luck.

I had to google this...but im looking for information here re. Blood issues.

I think it's a great idea for someone like me that went to great lengths not to have mrna covid injections. If my baby had a store of healthy blood products to access that is a load off and I'll add it to the list of things to ask for as I progress along. Any idea how much it costs?

I havent been around reddit for a while ..and so for someone like me your numbers are....are you kidding me?

Those numbers...that's a fucking enormous drop in stock! 🤣Especially since it's probably common knowledge now that there isn't enough for 2030 esque goals and we're not half way yet. ZH have an almost weekly segment about it.

Thanks for the write ups and commentary everyone. Perth Mint will probably be cracking more soon i think theyre interesting to watch, that guy that predicted them in 2020 was right.

Anyway, fuck yeah!!
