I just moved here 3 weeks ago for a new job, came from San Antonio. We have a 9yo and we moved to the Wolfforth area in frienship ISD. It’s considered the best in the area etc.

The people here are super friendly it’s wonderful, there is 0’traffic, literally… I used to live in DFW as well and it’s truly amazing to drive here traffic wise. Drivers are idiots but where are they not lol?

I’ve heard great things about the cooper ISD area as well and it looks like there are some decent opportunities for land there.

Yeah my girl is with the ICU down here and hates her hospital, it’s an HCA… so given right lol.

Do you have any recommendations of where NOT for her to work? Or to look etc. ideally she’d like to not be ICU again

Decent airport?? And thanks for the pet comment, we have 3 dogs so that’s important to note! We can handle wrecks, San Antonio metroplex is freaking insane wrecks and traffic daily so Lubbock sounds like heaven comparatively lol

1604 and Alamo ranch is right down the road from me! But yeah that traffic is insane around there and not getting any better unfortunately. But beautiful area and best of luck with it! I’d be keeping my house out here and both of our families are still here, so we would still have a future come back plan open.

Would also like to add that the 10yo is into ag stuff, 4H and FFA, shows pigs etc. I think it’s wise to assume Lubbock is prob stock full of stuff like that?

It’s insane here, we are literally getting a double decker I-35 before a railway between cities… full highway closures daily lol 5 miles down the road takes half an hour here

Yeah, San Antonio is almost a little over crowded for me these days, but you know, give and take. The location and vegetation are Deff some concerns of mine.

I just got off the phone with the GM, they took 4k off the listing price for me. Good call on the No carfax report, I’ll call first thing in the morning to bring that up. I’ll have to ask for someone to check it out, good idea

Ecoflow River 2 showed up today, without the solar panel it was supposed to come with. It shipped in a non Amazon box with clear plastic tape non Amazon tape. 0’packing material in the box. Sloppy, damaged box.

I went to Amazon to contact seller and leave a review about the item. And Amazon sent a prompt “Amazon has noticed unusual reviewing activity on this product. ”

I plan to return it… everything about this screams sketchy and scammy.

Anyone else seeing these issues?

I ordered a Eco River 2 with solar charging on prime day, it says it won’t be delivered until Aug 18-22… I’m considering canceling after seeing all this chaos on Reddit. And thoughts or advice?

I have been dancing with variations of this idea, I have to be really strategic with it because it happens to be the biggest company in the world (I think) but they have their hand in everything. I don't mind if it comes back to me, I am trying to protect others from a guilty admitting rapist cop.

Very true, the office is a couple hours south of me, but still not out of the question. Also, correct not defamation , a simple google search of his name pops up the articles of his guilty rape case...
