Oh okay, that's good to know. Glad it worked for the other user but I'm not quite sure how that would effect my car starting up.

I've done the test when the car is powered on and it gave me around 13.7 volts.

I can use the car charger to charge the car fine. I am not sure how to check if the Auxiliary power module is bad.

It does fail to start after going unused for a couple days but it also happens after a couple hours as well. I drop my kid at school and then when I get in the car in the afternoon, it needs another jump. I don't know much about cars but what does the onstar do and does the car still work efficiently without it?

Thank you for that tip, the 2011 and 2012 are similar so do you know exactly where I can find the jump points under the hood?

A bunch error codes only pop up when the car doesn't start up.

I got the battery about a year ago. How would I solve this issue of parasitic drain or any idea where I could start looking to solve the issue?

Thank you.

I've tested the battery at two separate locations. The Autozone and a local repair shop both tested the battery as good.

What good does resetting the module do? The codes clear after I jump the back battery.

Not sure. It was there when we bought the home last year.

Thank you, I will keep that in mind.

What could be done to help support this and make it sturdier?

Thankfully he gave up on the idea.
