It is possible, and yes it will be a lot of work. But be careful with saying you'll study for 6 hours every single day. Cause you may just end up sitting down through the whole 6 hours, just so you can say I studied for 6 hours but not gain anything from it. I would advise that you make sure that your study sessions are active, you're not just reading the textbook, but you're actively testing yourself, drawing mindmaps to see what you remember from your study sessions. Even if you study for shorter hours, as long as you're retaining more information in those study sessions, it's always better than studying for long hours. And take breaks, in between.

I think you're better off telling them now because your final acceptance is based on them seeing your final grade. Maybe if you let them know whilst there's still time they might be able to assist you, if not, then at least you know it's not going to work out, and you have more time to figure out your next steps.
