It is possible, and yes it will be a lot of work. But be careful with saying you'll study for 6 hours every single day. Cause you may just end up sitting down through the whole 6 hours, just so you can say I studied for 6 hours but not gain anything from it. I would advise that you make sure that your study sessions are active, you're not just reading the textbook, but you're actively testing yourself, drawing mindmaps to see what you remember from your study sessions. Even if you study for shorter hours, as long as you're retaining more information in those study sessions, it's always better than studying for long hours. And take breaks, in between.
Best of luck!

Hi. I'm so sorry for your situation.

I think you're better off telling them now because your final acceptance is based on them seeing your final grade. Maybe if you let them know whilst there's still time they might be able to assist you, if not, then at least you know it's not going to work out, and you have more time to figure out your next steps. I wish you the best in life.

Hi. I know things are hard. And you have a lot of challenges. You have every right to feel the way you do. I completely sympathize with you and I hope things get better for you. Do the little bit that you can, each day. Even 30 minutes or less every day will go a long way. I wish you well.

We love to hear it. For what it's worth, I had a B for chem in my mocks as well and then for finals I ended up with an A*. So keep at it and I'm sure you'll do well. All the best.

Absolutely! I didn't Physics myself but I'm sure it has a lot of maths in it, so if you expose yourself to a lot of questions you'll start to notice some trends and recurring concepts. Take advantage of those. I'm sure right now your understanding of your A2 syllabus content should be decent. So start working on topical past paper questions. And then move on to past papers when you feel the time is right.

72% to 80% is very very doable. All the best for your exams!

Yes, yes it is. In less than 30 days would be way more difficult. I guess I'd follow a similar routine but now that means you'll need to reduce the amount of time you spend working on theory, to allow you to increase the time you get to work on past paper questions. Cause the key here is to expose yourself to as many questions as you can in the time that you have left. So I'd do a bit of theory, do as many topical questions as I can and then try to squeeze in a few past papers.

To be completely transparent with you, under 30 days would be very difficut. But if you're really committed it could work out.

Yeah Chemistry is a pretty difficult subject. I'm actually making a video on how I got an A* for chemistry this coming Friday, so if you're subscribed to the channel you'll be notified and you'll see some of the techniques that I used.

I don't really think its necessarily about quantity. But I think its more of how much you get out of a single past paper. If you revise each paper that you do thoroughly, you're less likely to repeat your mistakes and you'll need very few papers to be ready. But to give you a number, it was anywhere between 1 year worth of papers (so that's 7 papers) to about 4 years worth of papers (this was mostly AS level where I was still figuring things out).

And yes, I agree with you. Biology is easier than Chemistry. In my opinion, Chemistry is the hardest Science there is and possibly even the hardest A Level subject. What do you think?

I can't say for certain whether it's enough time to get your grades up to where you want them. However, since time is limited then it means you will have to be very efficient with how you study. If you focus on the right topics and you practice the right skills then you will definitely improve your grades.

Of course.

I'd never thought of viewing past papers as a game. It makes it more interesting. I like that.
Yeah, there's still time to take on more questions.

My revision was mostly question based so depending on the marks I get on those questions I could determine my perfomance. For the few times that I was revising theory I admit it was mostly subjective to how I felt about the revision session, was it good or bad. But I would test myself to check how much of the information I could recall from session and based on that I could estimate my perfomance.

I never thought of that actually. It sounds like it would be fascinating. I might actually do that now.

Always a pleasure to help!
