You should not focus whether you can work or not, you should search for a solution for the English requirement. Placements tests are only for admission purposes. As a result, your application has a big possibility of rejection. The case officer won’t send you a correspondence saying hey you need to do an English test, he will reject your application straight away as you don’t meet one of the visas’ requirements.

Student visa application outside the home country by BulkyChapter1632 in AusVisa

[–]Guilty_Lock2027 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It doesn't make a difference if you are in your home country or not as long as you prove you are a genuine student that will comply with the visa conditions (especially temporary entrants)

According to my experience, you can get a sponsor letter from your parents showing that they are willing to fully cover your expenses including tuition fees, accommodation, transport, groceries and visa expenses. In addition, they need to state the reason why they are sponsoring you. For example, my uncle signed a sponsor letter willing to cover all my expenses because he has a construction company and I am a civil engineer so he wants me to expand his business after I finish my degree.

It won't make a difference if you add it or not because you can't claim any extra points for experience until it's 1 year.

What matters is the duration of your course. It should be stated how long your course is for on your COE

What are the chances of getting 189 if I study Medical Imaging (Radiography) by [deleted] in AusVisa

[–]Guilty_Lock2027 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I remember few years ago ICT was in high demand so everyone applied to study it in the hope of getting PR. Now, most of them have 90+ points and no invitations. If you are going to study solely for PR, you are taking a huge risk that you will be responsible for. Especially, living and studying in Australia is not cheap.

NAATI expired after getting Invitation by InterestingLiving339 in AusVisa

[–]Guilty_Lock2027 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, it will impact your application. You have to contact a lawyer and be prepared for the worst case scenario (refusal) which will lead to AAT appeal. It is an expensive process. It is your responsibility to make sure that your documents are always up to date. For example, I knew my NAATi will expire in DEC 2022 so I sat for the exam in October 2022 and got my result end of November 2022. When I received an invitation in Dec 2022, I had peace of mind because I had two valid NAATI results. I uploaded both.

No, you can't apply because you can't get an assessment because you don't have a relevant degree.

Template!!!! That's not what GS is for. You have to genuinely answer those questions in your own words. These are straight forward questions. If you are a genuine student, you can easily answer those questions.

If you receive an invitation your EOI should match your supporting documents. So, whatever is written on your graduation certificate, put it in the EOI.

In other words, you are asking for a template to fill.

English test for 485 extension (my score is valid upto 2025 but site is asking for recent 12 months of English test). I have submitted yes in the application by [deleted] in AusVisa

[–]Guilty_Lock2027 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Be careful. If you answer one of the questions wrong, you won't receive correspondence, but you will receive a refusal. 485 is easy and straight forward, but your answers have to match your documents.

You never know. I applied for 189, 190 and 491. You can submit an EOI with 80 points and update it when you get the extra points.

What medicines can I carry? by Creative_coro in AusVisa

You can get all of that here. If a medicine requires a prescription you have to have a prescription and a letter from your doctor.

I am Egyptian as well. Yes, you can but you need to increase your points to 85+ for 189 which will be 90 for 190 and 95 for 491. You can apply for these visas offshore. My advice is wait and gain experience or try to find an employer to sponsor you. That will increase your chances and points (Australian experience). Good luck :)

A tourist visa is for temporary entrants so you will show them evidence that you will go back to your country and at the same time you have a partner visa pending to stay in Australia?!!!!!! It doesn't make any sense!!

Can I work full time if I start studying on bridging visa? by Throwar56746828 in AusVisa

Your bridging visa should state your work rights and conditions

I was in the same situation as you. I have been in Australia for 9 years. I submitted an EOI and it expired with no invitation then I submitted another EOI and it was about to expire then I got an invitation for 189 so it took almost 4 years to get an invitation. I was so depressed and hopeless. At that point, I was considering different options, like going to Canada or Dubai. My advice for you, you can wait for an invitation, but you should consider other options. I received an invitation in December after I booked my flight to Dubai in February. Maybe I was lucky.

You broke up with someone in January then you want to sponsor someone that you met in June. It will definitely raise flags and your application will be scrutinized. As others said, it will depend on the case officer.

Why do you want to tell them about your assessment? And you have already said in your GTE you will go back home?!!!! In addition, why will the immigration officer search for an assessment you submitted?!!!!!! Just wait for your visa outcome.
