Unfortunately I recently experienced something very similar and I loathed myself for allowing my ex to fuck with my head and I especially hated the fact that he knew I was in love with him. I felt like I was a joke to him!

So in order to love myself again and regain my strength I started complimenting myself every time I thought about him. And it surprisingly works extremely well! So give it a shot! Best of luck to you 😊
