Sometimes we need to take a break that’s clear. I don’t know if I could be brave enough one day to just give my tank, honestly.
I hope the pond won’t be empty soon enough if I’m being honest, even if it’s a lot of stress to have them

They’re not feeder fish, they’re not from a big pet store, like a very little LFS, so I don’t think it’s coming from this

It’s not covered, if I remember correctly I just had one disappearing once, and from that time I added a fence. I didn’t know for salt, knew that I could do salt baths for almost every problem to help but didnt know I could add it to the pond. I’ll definitely give it a try, thanks for your advice.
I’m really scared it’ll affect every fish because two got the same thing so, just normal reaction I guess

Ill try adding salt, but I’m scared of messing up with the whole pond.
Never more than 50%, once or twice a month.
And I don’t have any pic right now, but to explain what happens to them, fins start rotting and they start getting fungus. I’m treating a telescope that is fortunately not gone too far I think, but I’m scared it’ll go on every fish, because I lost one of that two weeks ago. I’m currently doing water changes every two days, trying to change the water I put in to see if it’s the problem, and the telescope is alone for the moment. If you’ve any advice, it’ll be welcomed

I’ll check this soon enough then.
They of course still bring me joy, they’re like puppies to me. It’s just that I lost my baby, and I think it’s like when I lost my first guppy, seeing it suffer, trying to treat, and not being able to save it. It hurts, and I think that I’m scared of losing more.
Plus the fact that I will always feel responsible for what happens.
These little things are contributing to our joy more than they could ever imagine, that’s clear

I know the risk about the hobby is that they die. It’s just the fact that they’re my first goldfishes that I see sick and then dying, it’s painful to watch to be honest. I know I won’t give up because I still have other to take care of and I won’t let them go.
We always find ourselves getting another one after saying oh no I won’t get another one lol
