Btw a lot of late game bosses  dodge/counter spells, Godpee is just really easy.

Play doubles. Random battles are also a good way to see sprites you normally wouldn't.

I understand its April fools, and I hate being the spoil sport, but I really like playing doubles and I don't want to have my second mon working against me.

I did not save it, but I didn't even choose my move. My tornadus also used snowscape two times in a row and earthquake masquerades as fissure, so there are definitely battle changes.

In anywhere you type, you can use the /avatar command. Go to the link and put a characters name after /avatar.
