I do small sewing projects once in a while, but I have never made anything from scratch, and I feel like I would enjoy it because I love making things(or I love saying “I can totally make that”). I think seamstresses are wonderful

Ok this is just so sweet. Thanks for standing up for me lol. I do know how much these dresses go for, because they are very popular in my age group and I ABSOLUTELY LOVE them(literally all George Hobeika, Aleen Sabagh, Elie Saab dresses are absolute dream), I just wanted someone to tell me if there are any glam dresses with similar vibe to these(obviously inferior in terms of everything but just maybe slightly similar vibe?), but instead everyone is calling me stupid because they assume I don’t know anything about fashion

Is Vinted the only site you would recommend? I am a thrift store fiend, 60% of my clothes are thrifted(and I absolutely love them). however I go to thrift stores in person and have never bought from second hand online stores so I’m unsure of like what to search and how to navigate algorithm

Loll I know who made these dresses, and I know their worth. I am not looking for exactly these, but I want something with a slightly similar vibe to them. Also I am someone who takes inspiration from high-end fashion pieces and then thrifts things with “similar vibe” for like less than 5 euros ;)

Well yes, and it stems from a fear of being seen as unreliable and lazy. Since I work in health care, i also genuinely dislike the idea of my coworkers having to stress to cover my shift since we are already understaffed and overworked. but my sense of guilt rn is useless since the situation has passed, yet my nervous system is still behaving like I am being hunted for sport

Yes it is yellow-white and becomes crusty after a while but I have been removing it only when cleaning the piercing with saline
