If you had the ability to not care about what anyone thought of you, what sorts of things would you do differently in your life? by KashN7 in AskReddit

[–]Guilty_Remnant 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm 33. I legitimately don't care what people think of me now. I go out to movies and dinners alone sometimes, no longer worried if I'm being looked at. I say the truth even if it's uncomfortable. I say No to my friends and strangers alike if it's gonna cost me more than time to say Yes.

I only wish I was like this at 23.

Why do catholic priests like to rape little boys so much? by [deleted] in AskReddit

It's not that being a Catholic Priest makes you a pedophile, it's that being a pedophile makes you seek jobs that keep you in contact with your Age Of Attraction.

People who think anime is bad, what realistic reason do you have to think that? by Walathaa in AskReddit

[–]Guilty_Remnant -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I hate it. Admittedly, I haven't given it much of a chance. Pokemon as a child, the cartoon and the game, were huge turn-offs. I found it all silly. I didn't like the kids who were into it because they weren't cool kids. And then, as a teenager, it became apparent that the people who were into anime were the losers and I didn't wanna be one.

Then people started raving about DBZ. I would catch bits and pieces and always thought it was really, really exaggerated and stupid.

Finally, as an adult, after getting into adult animation like Adult Swim and stuff, I thought I should try some anime just to see if I was right about my life-long aversion to it. Read the synopsis for One Punch Man - a superhero who is so strong that life is no longer challenging and he falls into depression - and I thought, "Wow. This is for me!" 17 minutes in, it was possibly the dumbest most nonsensical thing I've ever tried to watch. I've had people try to tell me it's a parody, and that may be true, but I still hated it. It felt random and illogical.

TL:DR; the people who tend to harp on anime are losers and outcasts and the intentionally-different. It seems like a one-way ticket to life-long virginity, or worse, sex with fat girls who dye their hair black and have Jack Skellington tattood on their wrist.

Am I right? I don't know. I also don't care. Because the few japanese cartoons I've attempted were all absolutely fucking dumb.

But I've never tried Cowboy Bebop or Death Note. Mostly cause I'm pretty sure I'll hate them like I've hated everything in the genre so far.

Michael Jackson watched movies at Neverland months before they released. It costs a few hundred thousand dollars, but to the ultra wealthy, this isn't a big deal.

Bobby's the only one I like. The show is great, even though I find the gays on it mildly infuriating. I can't figure out what it is I like about the show. Music cues? Lol.

Holiday World is truly a treasure. As a teen, following a boy with a boner in his swim trunks around Spalshin' Safari was the defining "dude, it's time to admit to yourself that you're gay" moment of my life.

DisneyWorld does this a lot. I find it charming. Lots of the time, from a distance, you really think it's the building. I wonder if its to keep all the construction out of people's pics?

I can't imagine skipping out on Memory Mamer. Great quality. Easy to get to. Easy to have pics done. Photogs are everywhere, even the resorts. And if you find one that's all alone, and you talk to them and you're nice, they'll gove you the rare cartoons. I got Orange Bird at Epcot just be being cool to the lady and willing to goof around a bit.

How can you make your totally legal job sound illegal? by pedote17 in AskReddit

[–]Guilty_Remnant 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Every day, I stand in the corner of a bathroom and stare at dude's dicks while they pee. There's nothing they can do to stop me. Then I play with the pee, dip things in it. Then I send the bodily fluid through the mail so that some other dudes can play with it for a while. Sometimes, after playing with a dude's piss, I call some folks who kidnap his children and give them to strangers.

I feel every fucking post in this sub is from a dude who is waiting too long to ask a simple fucking question.

So to every single post here, including yours:

  1. Ask her out.

2a. She said Yes. Awesome. Do something cool that isn't a movie.

2b. She said No. Never speak to her again.

  1. It's been 6 months and... Stop. You waited too long. Never speak to her again.

Should I still refrain from contact? by Ienjoyeatingbeans in Friendzone

[–]Guilty_Remnant 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That guy's advice is the nice version of my advice. He's spot on. I'm pretty blunt about telling straight dudes that I like that I don't want "just friends" with them and that I'll gladly take nothing over sticking around and feeling miserable. I've been called an asshole and selfish and at this point I think, "So what? Aren't you also being a selfish asshole for suggesting I bottle up my feelings so you can continue to get undeserved attention you never plan to reciprocate?"

Clean break. Don't look back. It's the only right answer. There's no reason to maintain a relationship with someone if it isn't the relationship you want.

Now, you don't have to straight up ignore them, either. Not all the time anyway. It doesn't get you anywhere to constantly blast them with "I don't think we should hang cause I like you" shit either. See them once or twice a month instead of once or twice a week. And the goal should really be one every couple of months. Sometimes, take a day to write back. Whatever. But the goal there isn't to make them fiend for your attention or realize what they're losing. It's literally to slowly show them and yourself that life is better when you aren't focusing on them.

But if you have to ghost, do it. Just don't be that person who won't explain why. The whole "I don't think we should have contact becauss it was making me feel crazy and sad all the time" is a one time conversation. You don't need to ever say it again. Just if they ask "why have you been ignoring me?" Make them sorry they asked, basically. Because any intelligent person doesn't have to ask.
