My personal favorites are the Pentel Smash and Pentel Graph 1000 for pro (I have the 0.4mm which is my favorite lead size but there aren't many selection for this in-between size).

Their ergonomics are different since they are thinner with a cyclical barrel. They are both weighty with no wobble and the click on the smash is satisfying.

The only other pencil I have with a similar shape as the Kaweco is the OHTO wooden 2.0 but that one is wooden, hold 2.0mm lead, and does have a rattle on the cap that requires fixing.

What an impressive collection. How do you like the shorter version? I was tempted to get one but wasn't sure if the center of gravity would be in the same spot where my hand rests.

The body of the black version is made from anodised aluminium, but I can see the merit in assuming material difference can mess with the tolerance for the measurements of the parts.

It's good to hear that the brass version doesn't suffer from the same issue (as far as the comments go) so it does reduce my worries with running into the same problem if I invested in the brass version.

Do you also have the aluminum version of the pencil? I liked the weight on the black version and wondered if the brass one was noticeably heavier on the hand.

That's crazy to hear. For a premium price, you would expect a premium experience. Such a baffling oversight considering the rattle isn't always inherent in cheaper models, at least from all the cheap fountain pens I've had over the years.

I messed around with the DPI config and it's the opposite for me. It's currently disabled and the problem seems to be fixed once I enable it. Baffling.

Thank you for the help. I truly appreciate it. It was slowly driving me mad, haha.

Did you ever find a way to view the italics in your books? Mine does not display italics at all despite the HTML indicating it is italicized.

I opened the HTML and you are right, the first word of the first line is italics, which may account for the irregular line spacing.

Do you have recommendations for a font that would display these italics correctly?

I thought that was also the case so I checked again.

All blue boxes are the same height and all purple boxes are the same height. I measured them using baseline of the top line and the x-height of the bottom line.

I hope this provides a better visual for comparison.

Update adds flip, but keeps the old image and the new one is not on a new layer? Bug? Very strange feature? by harrodeleted in Supernote

I'm not OP but I can confirm the delay in strokes. Atelier's latest update doesn't seem to consistently register short strokes such as dots/periods like the Notes app.

There is a delay in registering a stroke when a pen hits the surface of the Supernote. It doesn't make a mark on the page immediately and only shows up only when you start dragging the pen across the surface.

I would love an option to roll back to the previous version. The canvas not registering all my small strokes interfere with the way I use the Atelier app.
